Salt water pool chlorinator having a sensor
Disclosed herein is a unit for a salt water pool chlorinator that is arranged for water to flow therethrough. The unit is configured for an electrode assembly to be received therein and is arranged such that some of the water flows through the electrode assembly. The unit has a channel, defined by a barrier impermeable to water, arranged for some other of the water to flow through the channel. At least one port may be arranged at the channel whereby at least one of a sensor, a feeder and an extractor can use the port to respectively detect, feed into and extract water in the channel.
Hydraulic geofracture energy storage system with desalination
Energy may be stored by injecting fluid into a fracture in the earth and producing the fluid back while recovering power and/or desalinating water. The method may be particularly adapted to storage of large amounts of energy such as in grid-scale electric energy systems. The fracture may be formed and treated with resin so as to limit fluid loss and to increase propagation pressure. The fluid may be water containing a dissolved salt or fresh water and a portion or all of the water may be desalinated using pressure in the water when it is produced.

Vehicular windshield washer fluid replenishing system
A system and method of collecting and conditioning rainwater and other moisture, such as dew, from a windshield of a vehicle and utilizing the collected fluid to replenish the fluids in the windshield washer reservoir. A collection funnel is positioned on a vehicle in order to collect rainwater and other moisture. Rainwater and other fluids from the collection funnel are directed to a conditioning chamber where the water is treated with a concentrate and filtered. The treated fluid is then directed to a pre-existing windshield washer reservoir.
Reverse osmosis water production apparatus
A reverse osmosis water production apparatus for use in a body of water includes a first section defining a buoyancy chamber and an elongate second section connected to the first section and configured to define an elongate chamber which extends downward beneath a waterline in use. The elongate chamber is provided with a plurality of elongate reverse osmosis membrane tubes, each tube containing a reverse osmosis membrane. A longitudinal axis of each reverse osmosis membrane tube is substantially parallel with a longitudinal axis of the elongate chamber and the reverse osmosis membrane tubes are arranged around a passage.
WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
A water supply system for supplying water to be used in a processing apparatus includes a water producing apparatus and a water adjusting apparatus. The water producing apparatus includes a first ion exchange resin column containing first ion exchange resin with which the water makes contact, and a first specific resistance meter for measuring a specific resistance of the water having made contact with the first ion exchange resin. The water adjusting apparatus includes a second ion exchange resin column containing second ion exchange resin with which the water supplied from the water producing apparatus makes contact, and a second specific resistance meter for measuring a specific resistance of the water having made contact with the second ion exchange resin.
Aquarium undergravel filter
A surface filter for aquarium water purification is placed on the bottom of the aquarium that sucks the waste out of the tank to the canister filter. Small plastic pieces make and connect the main stream channels. Each plastic piece is composed of a couple of inverted pyramids that acts like a funnel. Water flows through the main channels sucked by an external filter. In the base of each inverted pyramid a small hole opens to the drainage channel, which has a hollow inverted V shape. Water, particles and fish waste are passed through the channels to the external filter. At the end of the assembly a cross channel collects the drained water. Collected water is transferred to the external filter outside the aquarium. A hose connects the external filter with the collector. Another hose is connected to the same filter to return the filtered water back to the aquarium.
Marine aquarium water purification and salinity control apparatus and method
A water salinity control apparatus for a marine aquarium includes a filter section in which the water from a utility water supply is purified and deionized. A reservoir section includes a purified water reservoir for purified water, a salt-mixed water reservoir in which marine water at the setpoint salinity is stored, and a salt concentrate reservoir which contains fully salt-saturated water. A pump section includes pumps for pumping water from the salt-mixed water reservoir into the aquarium and for pumping water from the purified water reservoir to the aquarium. A control system adjusts the salinity of the water in the salt-mixed water reservoir and the salinity of the water in the marine aquarium. The control system receives input from salinity measuring probes that measure the salinity in the salt-mixed water reservoir and the salinity of the water of the marine aquarium.
STERILIZATION STRUCTURE OF WATER OUTLET AND WATER TREATMENT DEVICE CONTAINING SAME
Disclosed are a sterilizing structure of a water outlet and a water treatment apparatus including the same. The sterilizing structure of the water outlet according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a water outlet for discharging treated water treated in a water treatment device externally, and a sterilizer for sterilizing the water outlet.
