Drainage device
In a drainage device for draining road surfaces, parking areas, roof surfaces or the like, comprising a trough body and filter material which is situated in the trough body and is intended for cleaning water loaded with solid particles and/or dissolved pollutants, the filter material is a constituent part of a filter device which has a plurality of filter elements which can be handled individually and, if required, can be removed from the trough body, which filter elements each have a water-permeable enveloping wall with the filter material situated within the enveloping wall.
Water inlet filter system
A storm water inlet filter system is disclosed which comprises at least two, but preferably three, distinct filter layers. The storm water inlet filter system uses a nested basket structure in which one filter basket fits within another. Preferably a piece of disposable filter media is placed within the internal basket. Polluted water flows first into the inner basket, and onto the disposable filter media. Overflowing water passes into the outermost basket which can remove debris. The storm water inlet filter system can be used with many existing drainage systems, and can be cleaned and the disposable filter media replaced without the use of specialized equipment or training.
Eavesdropper
A rainwater diverter apparatus for watering roof plants is provided comprising a collecting member for retaining rainwater; a plastic tubing attached to the collecting member; a mesh screen to filter debris from entering the plastic tubing; and a swivel adaptor connected to the plastic tubing allowing for tube rotation.
APPARATUS AND PROCESS TO CONTROL PROVIDING PURIFIED WATER FOR HYDROGEN PRODUCTION
An apparatus to provide purified water to one or more electrolyzers for manufacture of hydrogen can include a polisher positioned to receive at least a minimum flow of water from a demineralization unit to purify the water and output the purified water to at least one electrolyzer of an electrolyzer house. The flow of water can be adjusted to maintain a minimum flow of water passing through one or more beds of the polisher while accounting for the demand of water at the electrolyzers. Flow adjustments can be made between providing all the purified water to the electrolyzers during high demand operations to other configurations in which little or no purified water is fed to the electrolyzers and, instead, that water is recycled back to the water demineralization unit.

Water inlet protection system
A water inlet protection system is provided. The system may an adjustable frame defining an interior cavity, the adjustable frame including a plurality of rigid base members, a plurality of slidable corner members, a plurality of nut-and-bolt fasteners, and one or more tabs extending from one or more of the corner members. Each of the slidable corner members includes one or more slots, and each of the nut-and-bolt fasteners includes a bolt that extends through one of the one or more slots and one of the rigid base members. When the respective bolt is loosened, the respective slidable corner member is slidable along the respective slot atop the respective rigid base member, thereby altering a boundary of the interior cavity. When the respective bolt is tightened, the respective slidable corner member is fixed in place atop the respective rigid base member, thereby fixing the boundary of the interior cavity.
Apparatus and method for liquid pumping
It is to be understood that embodiments of the present invention provide apparatus and a method for pumping a liquid, for example to recirculate liquid in a liquid storage tank by means of a gas lift pump. A perforated extension at the top of a gas lift allows the apparatus to be used in circumstances where the depth of liquid in the tank may vary over a wide range. Gases other than air may be used in the gas lift, so as to change the acidity and the concentrations of dissolved gases, particularly oxygen, in the liquid. The gas may be introduced into the gas lift through a whistle that generates intense sound waves and couples them into the liquid. These features when used in combination have particular application against invasive species in the ballast water of ocean-going tankers.
Seawater desalination system and seawater desalination method
A seawater desalination system includes an intake part buried in a sand layer of the seafloor to take in seawater passed through the sand layer, an anterior filtration part filtering seawater conveyed from the intake part, and a posterior filtration part filtering seawater conveyed from the anterior filtration part, using a reverse osmosis membrane. The anterior filtration part includes a first anterior filtration line including a first ultrafiltration membrane, a second anterior filtration line including a second ultrafiltration membrane having a molecular weight cut-off less than that of the first ultrafiltration membrane, and a switching part switching a path through which seawater flows between the first and second anterior filtration lines provided in parallel with each other. The system controls the switching part in accordance with dissolved oxygen content in the seawater taken in by the intake part, thereby improving the efficiency of seawater filtration with the ultrafiltration membranes.
WATER INLET PROTECTION SYSTEM
A water inlet protection system and apparatus for removing sediment and/or chemical from water or other fluids is provided. The system may include a filtration material that is configured to be water permeable and to collect sediment within the water. The system may be configured to be removably secured to various types of storm drains or water inlets. The system may include a frame configured to be removably attached to a storm grate. The frame may also include a plurality of tabs extending from the frame and be slidably adjustable. The system may also include an s-clip member or magnets for removably securing the filtration material to a storm drain or water inlet. Furthermore, the water inlet protection system may include one or more over-flow protection openings. The over-flow protection openings may include a raised member or barrier to regulate the water level where over-flow occurs.
