Gypsum based formulations
The formulation for making plasterboard with paper cover sheets comprises finely divided gypsum, a minor amount by weight of starch and, as crosslinking agent for the starch, a tri-functional reactive s-triazine having substituents at positions 2, 4 and 6 of the triazine ring which are reactive with the starch. A preferred crosslinking agent is 2,4,6-trichloro-s-triazine, which is preferably partially reacted with the starch before further reaction with the paper cover sheets for the plaster board.

Compositions and methods for reducing lime bucking in plaster products
Methods of treating lime bucking in a plaster slurry are described. The method involves providing a slurry exhibiting lime bucking having a cone penetration of less than 10 mm at a consistency of 60 cc, comprising: water; calcium sulfate hemihydrate; and hydrated lime; and mixing an effective amount of a dispersant comprising a low intensity dispersant into the slurry so that the cone penetration increases and wherein the cone penetration is 10 mm or more at 10 minutes after addition of the dispersant at a consistency of 60 cc; and applying the plaster slurry containing the dispersant to a substrate. Veneer plaster dry component mixtures having reduced lime bucking when made into a slurry containing a low intensity dispersant, or hydrated lime coated with wax or a dibenzoate plasticizer are also described.

Stucco properties through aging at elevated temperatures and high humidity level
The invention pertains to a method for stabilizing stucco wherein a fresh stucco is provided; water is added to the fresh stucco to obtain moistened stucco, and the moistened stucco is maintained at a temperature of at least 30 C. for a time interval of at least 30 minutes to obtain a stabilized stucco.
The process allows inter alia for an easy adjustment of the activity of the stabilized stucco, which is useful to e.g. adjust setting time of a corresponding stucco slurry. The invention further pertains to a method for producing gypsum plasterboards, wherein a stabilized stucco obtained with the above method is used.
KITS FOR PREPARING A REACTIVE GRAFT MATERIAL AND INJECTING THE GRAFT MATERIAL INTO A PATIENT
Disclosed are kits for preparing a reactive graft material and injecting the graft material into a patient. Kits may include a first syringe containing a first powdered component and a second syringe containing a second powdered component that is reactive with the first powdered component when the first and second powdered components are dispersed in a diluent solution. The kits may further include a vial sealed by a septum and containing the diluent solution. A syringe connector may be included that has a connector at each end configured to make a fluidic connection to, respectively, the first syringe and the second syringe, and also comprises a passageway adapted to allow fluid to pass between the syringes when the syringes are both fluidically connected to the syringe connector. A vial adapter comprising a connector adapted for fluidically connecting to at least one of the first syringe and the second syringe, a passageway adapted to allow fluid to pass from the vial into a syringe fluidically connected to the connector of the vial adapter, and a spike in fluidic communication with the passageway of the vial adapter may be included. The spike is adapted for piercing the septum of the vial. Certain kits also contain one or more needles for delivery of the graft material to a site within a body of a patient.
