Novel Multifunctional Material for Workability of Geopolymeric System and its Process Thereof
The present invention relates to a novel multifunctional material for workability of geopolymeric system and its process thereof. The viscous characteristics in geopolymeric system are responsible for observed negligible workability of geopolymeric cement concrete system and which limits its broad application spectrum. The novel multifunctional material of the present invention prepared by digestion of siliceous agricultural waste i.e. Rice husk with aqueous alkaline materials involving simultaneous and synergistic chemical reactions among the various constituents of rice husk, aqueous alkaline compounds and optionally adding Cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) to obtain in-situ synthesis of desired nano-sized multi functional agents lignin, hemicelluloses, cellulose, sodium silicate necessary for addressing the issue of workability and also improving the engineering properties of geopolymeric system for broad application spectrum.
CEMENTING A WELLBORE USING A DIRECT INK PRINTING
Methods and systems for cementing a wellbore are described. The methods include forming a slurry including a cement-based matrix, water, a polymer-based additive, and a rheology modifying agent; mixing the slurry to form a printing ink; introducing the slurry and a printer into a wellbore; and forming a cement-based composite structure in the wellbore by printing a plurality of layers using the printing ink.
NOBLE GAS NEUROPROTECTION AND NEUROREGENERATION FROM TREATMENT RELATED NEUROTOXICITY
Disclosed are means of inducing neuroregeneration and/or neuroprotection in patients with damage to the nervous system. In one embodiment, Noble Gas containing compositions are administered to a patient suffering from a neurological injury, said therapy is administered alone, or in combination with other therapies useful in the induction of neuronal protection/stimulation of neurogenesis. In one specific embodiment, patients are treated with Noble Gas compositions to restore neural function subsequent to radiation therapy or chemotherapy for neoplasia of the brain. In another embodiment, Noble Gas compositions are administered prior to, concurrent with or after radiation and chemotherapy in order to induce a protective effect on non-malignant cells without substantially interfering with efficacy of radiation and chemotherapy.
Composition containing a semi-ordered calcium silicate hydrate
A curing accelerator composition for building chemical mixtures comprises a mineral constituent and a polymeric water-soluble dispersant. The mineral constituent comprises a semi-ordered calcium silicate hydrate having an apparent crystallite size of 15 nm or less and less than 35% by weight of crystalline phases other than the semi-ordered calcium silicate hydrate. The composition displays a more pronounced accelerating effect than comparative compositions in which the mineral component comprises a calcium silicate hydrate having a higher degree of crystallinity.

CONTINUOUS READY MIX JOINT TREATMENT AND TEXTURE PRODUCT PRODUCTION
A continuous ready mix joint or texture compound manufacturing system and a method for continuously manufacturing a ready mix joint or texture compound includes a continuous mixer having an inlet and an outlet, a pump disposed at the outlet of the continuous mixer, and a disperger having an inlet and an outlet. The continuous mixer is adapted to receive at least one dry ingredient and at least one wet ingredient at the inlet and continuously mix the at least one dry ingredient and the at least one wet ingredient to form a mixed composition. The pump is adapted to pump the mixed composition from the outlet of the continuous mixer to the inlet of the disperger. The disperger is adapted to receive the mixed composition and apply a shear force to the mixed composition to form a homogenized, disperged composition.
BORON DOPED CEMENT AND CONCRETE
Aspects of the present disclosure provide for cement, cement paste, cementitious paste, cementitious mortar, and concrete, methods of making cement, cement paste, cementitious paste, cementitious mortar, and concrete, structures incorporating the concrete, and the like, where the cement, cement paste, cementitious paste, cementitious mortar, and the concrete include elemental boron and/or one or more boron compounds (e.g., boron-doped cement, cement paste, cementitious paste, cementitious mortar, and concrete). The boron and/or a boron compound can be homogeneously distributed throughout the cement, cement paste, cementitious paste, cementitious mortar and/or concrete.
Paver adhesive and method of laying pavers
One inch paver tiles may now be set over a concrete pad for use by vehicular traffic. The method and dry concrete mix may be used to overlay concrete driveways. The paver tiles may be laid over a dry concrete mix comprising a latex polymer, Portland cement, sand and a hydration control agent. After laying the paver tiles in a field over the concrete mix in the dry state, a border of paver tiles or other material may be laid in a wet concrete mix prior to hydrating the field paver tiles. The dry concrete mix cures after hydration to form a strong layer adhering the paver tiles to the concrete pad for use by vehicular traffic.
CRACK-RESISTANT CEMENT COMPOSITION
A cement composition for use in a well that penetrates a subterranean formation comprising: cement; water; and an additive comprising zirconium dioxide, wherein at least a portion of the zirconium dioxide is in a metastable tetragonal phase, and wherein some or all of the zirconium dioxide that is in the metastable tetragonal phase transforms to a stable monoclinic phase after a stress is applied to the cement composition. The additive also reduces the dimensions of a crack located within the set cement composition. A method of cementing in a subterranean formation comprising: introducing a cement composition into the subterranean formation.
Low Dust Additives For Joint Compounds And Joint Compounds Thereof
The present invention relates generally to wall repair compounds such as joint compounds, spackling compounds, and the like used to repair imperfections in walls or fill joints between adjacent wallboard panels. Particularly, the present invention relates to such a wall repair compound comprising a dust reduction additive that reduces the quantity of airborne dust generated when the hardened compound is sanded and also exhibits improved adhesive properties. The dust reduction additive also imparts adhesion to the wall repair compounds to which it is added, for example to a joint compound. The dust reduction additive comprises micro-crystalline wax or micro-crystalline wax emulsion.
