Phosphorylated amino polycarboxylic acid cement retarder

A variety of systems, methods and compositions are disclosed, including, in one method, a method of cementing may comprise: providing a cement composition comprising: a hydraulic cement comprising Portland cement in an amount of about 50% by weight of hydraulic cement or less, water, and a phosphorylated amino polycarboxylic acid cement retarder; placing the cement composition in a wellbore; and allowing the cement composition to set. A cement composition, the composition comprising: a hydraulic cement comprising Portland cement in an amount of about 50% by weight of hydraulic cement or less; water; and a phosphorylated amino polycarboxylic acid cement retarder.

SET CONTROL COMPOSITION FOR CEMENTITIOUS SYSTEMS

A set control composition for cementitious systems comprises (a) an amine-glyoxylic acid condensate, and (b) at least one of (i) a borate source and (ii) a carbonate source. The carbonate source is selected from inorganic carbonates having an aqueous solubility of 0.1 gL.sup.−1 or more, and organic carbonates. The set control composition improves workability of cementitious systems for prolonged periods of time without compromising early compressive strength. Due to the retarding action of the set control composition, the dosage of dispersant(s) necessary to obtain a desired flowability of the cementitious system can be reduced.

PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING CEMENT PERFORMANCE

Products, including treatment compositions, and methods for improving cement performance are provided. More specifically, products and methods for improving cement hydration, and thus cement performance, using vegetation are provided. The vegetation may be processed into a vegetative extract that may be used to create a treatment composition. The treatment composition may be used to enhance hydration of cement. The products and methods disclosed herein may be used to create a stronger, lower cost, and longer-lasting cementitious product.

Waterless integral waterproofing

Described are admixture composition and method for integrally waterproofing cementitious compositions, such as concrete and mortar, wherein an organosilicon compound (e.g., silane) is mixed with animal oil, vegetable oil, or mixture thereof, and defoaming agent. The organosilicon/oil mixtures of the present invention enhances the water repellent efficacy of the organosilicon, even as it displays inherently greater product stability, as compared to emulsion-based (and thus substantial free-water containing) admixture formulations of the prior art. Cementitious materials made in accordance with the present invention demonstrate excellent air consistency and air neutrality.

ADDITIVE FOR INCREASING EARLY ACTIVITY INDEX OF NICKEL SLAG AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

An additive for increasing an early activity index of nickel slag and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the field of additive technologies, are provided. The preparation method includes: successively adding maleic anhydride and triethanolamine to a reactor; setting the heating temperature to 50 C. for reaction, where a large amount of heat is released during the reaction; when the reaction temperature decreases to 60 C. after heat is released in the reaction, allowing triethanolamine maleate to react with a solution of bromine in carbon tetrachloride; adding water to the mixture, where the weight percentage content of the added water is 60%; separating and removing carbon tetrachloride from water; and conducting uniform stirring to obtain the additive. A molar ratio of the maleic anhydride, the triethanolamine, and bromine is (0.2-1):1:(0.2-1), and a molar ratio of the maleic anhydride to the bromine is 1:1.
