A composition is disclosed including combining a carbonate or bicarbonate compound, an acid, a biostimulant, a nutrient, and a pesticide. The composition may be processed into a tablet, powder, meal, pellets, or granules and produce effervescence when a liquid, such as water or a water-based liquid is mixed with the composition.

The disclosed embodiments describe a novel approach to the utilization of the fine mineral matter derived from coal and/or coal refuse (a by-product of coal refining) to convert a non-biodegradable plastic into a biodegradable plastic. The fine mineral matter could also be based on volcanic basalt, glacial rock dust deposits, iron potassium silicate and other sea shore mined deposits. The conversion of the non-biodegradable plastic into biodegradable plastic in soil further increases nutrients availability in soil with the transition metals released as a result of biodegradation of the biodegradable plastic.

A process for production of fish by-product based organic fertilizer includes combining one or more fish by-products and one or more additives, including corn steep liquor; concentrated separator by-product; and/or betaine to create a combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives. The combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives yields the fish by-product based organic fertilizer product.

A process for production of fish by-product based organic fertilizer includes combining one or more fish by-products and one or more additives, including corn steep liquor; concentrated separator by-product; and/or betaine to create a combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives. The combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives yields the fish by-product based organic fertilizer product.

Disclosed are a special fertilizer for intercropping maize and peanuts and a cultivation method for maintaining soil organic carbon (SOC) balance, belonging to the technical field of SOC balance. The special fertilizer for intercropping maize and peanuts includes the following raw materials: coated urea, heavy superphosphate, ammonium sulfate, fermented soybean meal, bentonite, sodium molybdate, borax, humic acid, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, plant ash and zinc sulfate heptahydrate. The cultivation method includes the steps of land selection, land preparation, fertilizing, sowing, field management, and rotation.

The VTAE may be a non-distilled fraction of vacuum distillation of used automotive and/or industrial oil. The VTAE may not be asphalt or bitumen, although the coating may further comprise bitumen.
