A process for production of fish by-product based organic fertilizer includes combining one or more fish by-products and one or more additives, including corn steep liquor; concentrated separator by-product; and/or betaine to create a combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives. The combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives yields the fish by-product based organic fertilizer product.

A process for production of fish by-product based organic fertilizer includes combining one or more fish by-products and one or more additives, including corn steep liquor; concentrated separator by-product; and/or betaine to create a combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives. The combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives yields the fish by-product based organic fertilizer product.

Disclosed are a special fertilizer for intercropping maize and peanuts and a cultivation method for maintaining soil organic carbon (SOC) balance, belonging to the technical field of SOC balance. The special fertilizer for intercropping maize and peanuts includes the following raw materials: coated urea, heavy superphosphate, ammonium sulfate, fermented soybean meal, bentonite, sodium molybdate, borax, humic acid, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, plant ash and zinc sulfate heptahydrate. The invention relates to a method of producing a fertilizer composition from a feedstock that includes alcoholic beverages, waste product derived from the production of alcoholic beverages, or mixtures of the same. The feedstock is subjected to distillation to remove most of the ethanol and pH adjustment using a base. The invention also relates to a method of imparting flavor to a plant starting with the same feedstock, subjecting the feedstock to distillation and pH adjustment, and adding a flavorant to the resultant liquid before fertilizing the plant. The invention also relates to a method of producing a solid or liquid and solid foodstuff suitable for fish, bovine, swine, and the like for increasing dietary efficiency and reducing environmentally harmful solid and gaseous output.

Fertilizers and fertilizer additive compositions and methods are provided. The compositions and methods comprise utilizing by-products from the manufacture of biodiesel and/or fatty alkyl esters, wherein the by-product comprises glycerin, mong, moisture, C.sub.6-C.sub.24 saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, C.sub.6-C.sub.24 saturated and unsaturated fatty acid salts, methyl esters, ethyl esters and combinations thereof.

A plant metabolism promoting composition for promoting metabolic processes in plants includes an L-amino acid, or a salt or a derivative thereof, having a chemical formula of HO.sub.2CCH(NH.sub.2)CH.sub.2CH.sub.2CONHR, wherein R is an alkyl or an alkenyl. An amount of the composition applied to one or both of a seed and a plant is sufficient to augment one or more of: i. growth of a plant growing from the seed or growth of the plant, ii. health of a plant growing from the seed or health of the plant, iii. quality of yield from a plant growing from the seed or quality of yield from the plant, and iv. quantity of yield from a plant growing from the seed or quantity of yield from the plant.
