Tobacco blend
Described herein is a composition for use in a device for generating an inhalable medium, the composition comprising (i) 50-85% by weight of air-cured and/or fire-cured tobacco (ii) 0-50% by weight of flue-cured and/or sun-cured tobacco that has not been subjected to any further treatment which affects the flavor properties of tobacco, and (iii) 0-50% by weight of flue-cured and/or sun-cured tobacco that has been further treated to enhance the flavor properties of tobacco.
Tobacco Free Hookah Smoking Gel
A tobacco-free absorbent dry gel that delivers flavored smoke and/or nicotine when heated or burned is disclosed. The dry gel formulation includes a binder compound to which flavors and/or nicotine can be added. The dry gel is suitable for use in a hookah smoking apparatus.
Tobacco blend
Provided herein is a composition for use in a device for generating an inhalable medium, the composition including (a) 20-40% by weight of air-cured and/or fire-cured tobacco, (b) 0-35% by weight of flue-cured and/or sun-cured tobacco that has not been subjected to any further treatment which affects the flavor properties of tobacco, and (c) 25-80% by weight of flue-cured and/or sun-cured tobacco that has been further treated to enhance the flavor properties of tobacco.

Electronic smoking device with flavor carrying units
An electronic smoking device (1) includes a mouthpiece (2), a heating element (4) and a body portion (5) which contains a liquid reservoir (6). The heating element (4) is adapted to vaporize liquid (7) supplied from the reservoir (6) to generate an aerosol. A flow path (8) extends from the heating element (4) to the mouthpiece (2). Flavor carrying units (9, 10) are permeable to the vaporized liquid (7) and carry flavored material (11, 12). The flavored material is selectively and individually exposed to the flow path 8 creating a flavored aerosol.
Tobacco chewing gum formulation
A chewing gum formulation including tobacco particles and a gum base, where the gum base includes one or more hydrophobic gum base polymers, and where the tobacco particles are made from tobacco leaves. The amount of tobacco particles is between 0.5 and 30% by weight of the chewing gum formulation, and nicotine is released from the tobacco particles when chewing the chewing gum formulation.
Meltable smokeless tobacco composition
A meltable smokeless tobacco composition configured for insertion into the mouth of a user is provided. The smokeless tobacco composition includes a tobacco material and a lipid having a melting point of about 36 C. to about 45 C. An associated process is also provided. The process includes melting a lipid having a melting point of about 36 C. to about 45 C. to form a molten lipid composition, mixing a tobacco material with the molten lipid composition to form a molten smokeless tobacco composition, and cooling the molten smokeless tobacco composition to form a solidified smokeless tobacco composition.
REDUCED-EXPOSURE TOBACCO PRODUCTS
The present invention provides methodologies, including the utilization of genetically modified (GM) tobaccos, for the development and production of consumer acceptable PREPs encompassing the following: 1) production of low tar-to-nicotine ratio cigarettes, which allow smokers to obtain satisfying, amounts of nicotine more efficiently than conventional cigarettes while reducing whole smoke deliveries; thereby reducing smoker compensation that exists with conventional low-yield cigarettes; 2) reduction of harmful tobacco-specific nitrosamines in tobacco products by genetic means and by extracting nicotine from tobacco and combining such with genetically modified reduced-nicotine tobacco; 3) production of improved expanded tobacco which utilizes genetically modified increased-nicotine tobacco; and 4) production of reconstituted tobacco which includes any combinations of the following: genetically modified increased-nicotine tobacco, genetically modified reduced-nicotine tobacco, tobacco leaf fractions, and freshly harvested freeze-dried tobacco.

Electronic cigarette
An electronic cigarette capable of protecting the functional element on the surface of the main body of the electronic cigarette is provided. The main body of the electronic cigarette is provided with a functional element, a protection mechanism and a magnetic locating member; the protection mechanism is slidably connected to the main body of the electronic cigarette and is configured to cover the functional element; and the magnetic locating member is connected to the protection mechanism magnetically, and is configured to prevent the protection mechanism from randomly sliding on the main body of the electronic cigarette in a case that the functional element is exposed or covered by the protection mechanism. The present application avoids the exposure of the functional element, which prevents the functional element from being touched by mistake when the electronic cigarette is carried by the user, and allows the electronic cigarette to operate normally.
