SOIL BUILDER

The present invention relates to an organic soil builder, conditioner and/or biofertilizer, and to the production method thereof, which organic soil conditioner and/or biofertilizer has an organic base that allows the availability of nutrients in the soil to be increased for use when the plant requires, or the recovery of degraded soils. The method of the invention uses any type of animal waste sludges together with dry matter and granulated minerals. This mixture is fermented for 40 to 210 days, thus obtaining the organic soil builder, conditioner and/or biofertilizer of the invention.

Self-flushing anaerobic digester system
10611700 · 2020-04-07 · ·

A digester system comprising a primary digester tank containing a primary feed material portion, a secondary digester tank containing a secondary feed material portion, a first conduit connected between the primary digester tank and the secondary digester tank to define a primary tank lower opening within the primary digester tank and a secondary digester tank lower opening within the secondary digester tank, and a flow control valve configured to allow or prevent flow of fluid through the first conduit. When the flow control valve is configured to allow flow of fluid through the first conduit, a portion of the primary feed material portion flows from the primary digester tank to the secondary digester tank to form the secondary feed material portion.

Use of nitrogen-containing compounds as plasticizers for peptide-based biopolymers and uses thereof

A novel method of reducing the melting point of a peptide-based biopolymer using a nitrogen-containing compound as a plasticizer is provided. The peptide-based biopolymer can be keratin or silk. The nitrogen-containing compound can be one or more amino acids or other nitrogen-containing compounds (except urea), all of which have a melting temperature above approximately 133 C., the decomposition temperature of urea. Pellets made using this novel process can be used as animal feed and soil amendments (fertilizer) to increase the adsorption of amino acids in the animal or in the soil, respectively.

SOIL ENHANCEMENT
20200079703 · 2020-03-12 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed to provide plant nutrient by selecting a series of microbes optimal for plant growing; mixing the microbes, urea and humic acid in a mixture; and combining the mixture with a fertilizer.

NUTRIENT SOURCES FOR PLANT GROWTH MEDIUMS

Nutrient sources for a plant growth medium are disclosed. The nutrient sources include feather meal, soy meal, and optionally compost. Plant growth mediums including such nutrient sources exhibit desirable nutrient release profiles and advantageous plant growth. Methods of making and using the nutrient sources and plant growing mediums containing such nutrient sources are further disclosed.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMALLY TREATING MATERIAL DURING PELLETING
20200062668 · 2020-02-27 ·

A method of producing a pelleted substance from a pelleting material having a pathogenic microorganism is disclosed. The method includes heating the pelleting material to a predetermined temperature for a predetermined amount of time effective to induce thermal inactivation of the pathogenic microorganism. A method of producing a pelleted substance from a pelleting material having a keratinous material is disclosed. The method includes heating the pelleting material to a predetermined temperature for a predetermined amount of time effective to induce denaturation or hydrolysis of the keratinous material. A method of operating a system for producing a pelleted substance from a pelleting material including manure material is also disclosed. The method includes thermally controlling a component of the system which directly contacts the pelleting material to heat the pelleting material to a predetermined temperature effective to induce thermal inactivation a pathogenic microorganism.

ORGANIC SLOW-ACTING FERTILIZER USING PLANTAGINIS SEMEN HUSK AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
20200024209 · 2020-01-23 ·

The present invention provides organic slow-acting fertilizer using psyllium seed husk and a method for producing the same. Macroelements or secondary elements selected from 12 essential nutrient elements (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Fe, Mn, Cu, B, Mo, and Zn) for edible plants are extracted from each of oil cake (collectively referring to residue remaining after extraction of vegetable oil, and including soybean oil cake, palm oil cake, etc.), blood meal (livestock blood), dead fish or bonefish-containing by-products, bone meal, Dead Sea mineral, egg shell, seashell, oystershell, natural gypsum, dolomite, phyllite, and natural salt, by a predetermined extraction process, and are impregnated in larger amounts into a porous material such as zeolite, and organic fertilizers are produced in the form of psyllium seed husk-bound grains for more rapid and effective impregnation so that suitable proportions of element fertilizers can be supplied to each type of plant.
