Composition comprising chitosan and a fungicide
The present invention provides a composition comprising (i) chitosan or chitopoly- or chitooligo-saccharides thereof, wherein said chitosan or chitopoly- or chitooligo-saccharides thereof comprise -(1-4)-linked D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine monomers and have a degree of acetylation between 0.05 and 0.20 and an average degree of polymerization 250 (molecular weight 42,000 Da), and (ii) a fungicide not containing chitopoly- or chitooligo-saccharides.
Pelleted feather meal and soybean meal based organic fertilizer
A process for production of a pelleted feather meal and soybean meal based organic fertilizer includes combining feather meal and soybean meal to create a combination of feather meal and soybean meal and processing the combination of feather meal and soybean meal into pellets. In one embodiment, the pelleted feather meal and soybean meal based organic fertilizer includes meat and bone meal.
Energising agricultural fertiliser composed of sucrose, humic acid and protein
An agricultural energising biostimulating composition made from sucrose, protein/hydrolised protein, and humic acid. The composition is aimed at solving the energy deficit that is affecting the production of fruit and vegetables in the agriculture industry. Plants do not obtain the energy they need for their development, which affects the quality and quantity of the fruit produced.
Fertilizer compositions including wool pellets and animal products, wool pellets including animal products, and related methods
A fertilizer composition comprising a base composition, a plurality of wool pellets comprising wool, and at least one animal product selected from the group consisting of blood meal, meat and bone meal, fish meal, and tankage. Related methods of forming the fertilizer composition comprise providing a plurality of wool pellets to a base composition, adding the at least one animal product to the base composition, and mixing the plurality of wool pellets, the at least one animal product, and the base composition to form a fertilizer composition comprising the plurality of wool pellets, the at least one animal product, and the base composition. Related methods of providing at least one nutrient to a plant are also described.
A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A BIOCOMPATIBLE SOIL MIXTURE FROM CREMATED ASH REMAINS AND GROUND PENETRATING APPARATUS THEREFOR
There is provided A process for producing a biocompatible soil mixture from cremated ash remains, the process comprising: mixing cremated ash remains with a soil base material and a nutrient composition to produce a pre-conditioned mixture, the nutrient composition comprising at least one of paramagnetic material, soil conditioner and fertilizer; and conditioning the pre-conditioned mixture using a microbial conditioner to adjust the adverse chemical properties of the cremated ash remains biologically to produce a conditioned soil mixture being biocompatible for a legacy tree, wherein the pre-conditioned mixture comprises less than 10% of the cremated ash remains by volume.
A GRANULAR FERTILIZER OR SOIL CONDITIONER AND A USE THEREOF
A granular fertilizer or soil conditioner (10) containing a bio-based core matrix (12) with at least one nitrogen compound and an inert barrier layer (12) thereon. The fertilizer or soil conditioner may be used to replace commercially available soil conditioners or chemical or mineral fertilizers.
Organic waste processing
The present invention relates to methods of processing organic waste, in particular it relates to a method for making fertilizer from organic waste, especially slow release fertilizer. The present invention also relates to fertilizers made by the method of the invention, especially slow release fertilizer. The method of processing organic waste to provide a slow-release fertilizer may comprise at least one hydrolysis step to provide hydrolyzed organic waste and a setting step to provide a slow release fertilizer.
METHOD FOR RECOVERING PHOSPHORUS
The present invention concerns a method for recovering phosphorus by thermochemical reaction of a phosphorus-containing material such as an alternative fuel, for example, in the presence of calcium-containing particles in a moving bed reactor and subsequent separation of fines enriched with phosphorus from the moving bed reactor. Furthermore, the present invention concerns the use of a recyclable material obtained by the method as a fertilizer or fertilizer additive.
Method and system for producing enhanced fertilizer from poultry waste
An enhanced biofertilizer production implementation may comprise iteratively drying, curing and turning manure composting in a windrow lane until at least one predetermined criteria is satisfied to produce unamended compost, identifying and isolating a biologically active microorganism in the unamended compost, amplifying the isolated microorganism, adding the amplified isolated microorganism to the unamended compost to produce inoculated compost and mixing the inoculated compost with biosolids or other fertilizer ingredients with biosolids to impregnate and produce enhanced biofertilizer.
MICROBIAL CONSORTIA
Disclosed herein are microbial consortia and compositions including microbes for use in agricultural or biodegradation applications. In some embodiments, soil, plants, and/or plant parts (such as seeds, seedlings, shoots, roots, leaves, fruit, stems, or branches) are contacted with a disclosed microbial consortia or composition including microbes. The microbial consortia or microbe-containing compositions may be applied to soil, plant, and/or plant parts alone or in combination with additional components (such as chitin, chitosan, glucosamine, amino acids, and/or liquid fertilizer). In additional embodiments, the disclosed microbial consortia or compositions including microbes are used in methods of degrading biological materials, such as chitin-containing biological materials.
