METHOD OF PH REGULATING BIOMASS RESIDUES
A method of pH regulating biomass residues includes the steps of: providing biomass residue comprising solid and liquid parts; exposing the biomass to one or more separation steps, wherein said biomass is separated into one or more solid fractions having a reduced content of water, and one or more fluid fractions; and adding a pH regulator to the biomass residue, and/or the one or more solid fractions, and/or the one or more fluid fractions, wherein the pH regulator comprises a juice derived from agricultural biomass and/or fish manure.
Keratin-Based Substrate and Methods of Forming the Same
The present disclosure refers to a keratin-based substrate, comprising a keratin derivative and natural biopolymer, where the keratin derivative and natural biopolymer are crosslinked. The present disclosure also refers to a method of forming a keratin-based substrate, comprising (i) mixing a solution of keratin derivative with a solution of natural biopolymer; and (ii) drying the resulting solution of step (i) to obtain the keratin-based substrate. The present disclosure further relates to the use of the substrate as a plant growth medium or hydroponic support medium. In a preferred embodiment, a substrate comprising keratin intermediate filament protein and cellulose nanofibers is provided.
LIVESTOCK CARCASS TREATMENT SYSTEM USING ULTRA-HIGH TEMPERATURE MICROORGANISMS
The present invention relates to a carcass treatment system 1. Such a carcass treatment system 1 ferments and decomposes carcasses by hyperthermophile of 85 to 110° C. and aerobic conditions, and comprises a mobile fermentation process unit 3 for transferring to an onset site of disease and treating the livestock carcass by hyperthermophile; or a burial fermentation process unit 5 for excavating a burial site 6 near the outbreak site of disease and treating the livestock carcass by hyperthermophile; a base treatment unit 7 for secondarily processing the livestock carcass treated primarily by the mobile fermentation process unit 3 or the burial fermentation process unit 5 with hyperthermophile, wherein the primary treatment is performed by treating with hyperthermophile at fermentation temperature of 85 to 110° C. for 8-15 days to decompose flesh of the carcass, and the secondary treatment is performed by treating with hyperthermophile for 2-4 weeks.
COMPOSITION INCLUDING EFFERVESCENT AGENTS, BIOSTIMULANT, NUTRIENT, AND PESTICIDE
A composition is disclosed including combining a carbonate or bicarbonate compound, an acid, a biostimulant, a nutrient, and a pesticide. The composition may be processed into a tablet, powder, meal, pellets, or granules and produce effervescence when a liquid, such as water or a water-based liquid is mixed with the composition.
FISH BY-PRODUCT BASED ORGANIC FERTILIZER
A process for production of fish by-product based organic fertilizer includes combining one or more fish by-products and one or more additives, including corn steep liquor; concentrated separator by-product; and/or betaine to create a combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives. The combination of one or more fish by-products and one or more additives yields the fish by-product based organic fertilizer product.
Biological preparation method for producing amino acid liquid fertilizer from waste feathers
A method for producing an amino acid liquid fertilizer from waste feathers includes: acquiring an enzymatic hydrolysate by performing enzymolysis on feather powder with a complex enzyme; adding acid protease to the enzymatic hydrolysate for enzymolysis; and acquiring the amino acid liquid fertilizer by performing enzyme inactivation on a filtrate acquired by performing filtering after enzymolysis is completed, wherein the complex enzyme includes keratinase and amino acid peptidase. By adopting this method, the enzymolysis rate of the feathers reaches 80% or above and the prepared amino acid liquid fertilizer contains various kinds of amino acids (17 amino acids); and the content of the amino acid can reach 10.12% (by mass fraction) or above and the content of small peptide reaches 9.39% (by mass fraction), which reach the Chinese standard of the amino acid liquid fertilizers without concentration. Thus, the environmental-friendly amino acid liquid fertilizer can be prepared.
Self-Flushing Anaerobic Digester System
A digester system comprising a primary digester tank containing a primary feed material portion, a secondary digester tank containing a secondary feed material portion, a first conduit connected between the primary digester tank and the secondary digester tank to define a primary tank lower opening within the primary digester tank and a secondary digester tank lower opening within the secondary digester tank, and a flow control valve configured to allow or prevent flow of fluid through the first conduit. When the flow control valve is configured to allow flow of fluid through the first conduit, a portion of the primary feed material portion flows from the primary digester tank to the secondary digester tank to form the secondary feed material portion.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN AMINO-ACID COMPOSITION USING ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS
The present disclosure provides a method for preparing an amino acid composition using an animal byproduct, particularly a method for obtaining an amino acid composition of high quality using an animal byproduct more effectively in short time. Because an amino acid composition can be obtained from an animal byproduct more effectively and quickly using the method of the present disclosure, utilization of livestock waste, etc. can be enhanced and application as various products can be expected.
FISH SOLUBLE BY-PRODUCT AND GRAIN BY-PRODUCT BASED ORGANIC FERTILIZER
A process for production of fish soluble by-product based organic fertilizer includes combining fish soluble by-product and one or more grain by-products to create a combination of fish soluble by-product and one or more grain by-products. The combination of fish soluble by-product and one or more grain by-products yields the fish soluble by-product based organic fertilizer product.
Lubricated Agricultural Mixture
A lubricated agricultural mixture and method(s) of use thereof is described. Embodiments of the lubricated agricultural mixture can include a carbon source, a fertilizer, a binder, and a hydrogel. The lubricated agricultural mixture can be formed into tablets, granules, and wafers. The different forms of the lubricated agricultural mixture can be implemented in various situations. For instance, the table form can be distributed via machinery such that the carbon source acts as a lubricant for the machinery to minimize wear on the machinery.
