Cigarette rack with inventory check
The cigarette rack with inventory check comprises a package rack, a plurality of digital tape measures, and a control device. The package rack stores as individual packs each pack contained within the plurality of prepackaged smoking materials. The plurality of prepackaged smoking materials are organized into one or more stacks. Each of the plurality of digital tape measures measures the length of an outer dimension of a stack selected from the one or more stacks to determine the count of packs contained within the selected stack. The control system counts the number of packs contained within each of the one or more stacks. The control system displays: 1) the number of packs contained within each of the one or more stacks; and, 2) the price of an individual pack contained within the selected stack.
Package
The invention relates to packaging for tobacco industry products and, particularly but not exclusively, to packages including a label having a tab. A barrier material encloses one or more tobacco industry products and has a region which, in use, forms an aperture over which is positioned the label. The tab at least partially overlies the region.
Tray for an electronic smoking device or parts thereof
The tray (100) comprises at least one cavity (101) for containing the portion. The tray (100) is configured to be reversibly deformed from a default form into a deformed form by finger interaction with interaction elements of the tray (100) having a distance to each other of at least 90% of the average distance between thumb tip and index finger tip or a middle finger tip of an adult. The tray (100) is configured to return to the default form once the finger interaction is terminated. The default form provides the at least one cavity (101) for containing the portion in an inaccessible manner and the deformed form is required for accessing the portion.

A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DIFFERENT TYPES OF SMOKING ARTICLE
A method for concurrently manufacturing two different types of smoking articles using a smoking article manufacturing machine. The machine comprises a filter rod feeder, a rod attachment unit for attaching rods of smokable material to each longitudinal end of a dual length filter rod received from the filter rod feeder, and a cutter to cut the dual length filter rod into two filter rod segments so that each segment, together with the rod of smokable material attached to each segment, forms a smoking article. The method supplies the filter rod feeder with filter rods comprising filter tow. The filter rods being configured so that the two filter rod segments cut from a dual length filter rod by the cutter will each have different characteristics. A pack of smoking article industry products, and an intermediate product made during the concurrent manufacture of two different types of smoking articles, are disclosed.
PRODUCT FOR HOLDING A TOBACCO PRODUCT OR A TOBACCO SUBSTITUTE WITH INTEGRATED ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A product for holding a tobacco product or a tobacco substitute includes an integrated electronic device with: a power source; an input means comprising a sensor to generate an input signal from an external stimulus; an output means to generate an output signal; digital processing means to process the input signal and deliver a command signal to the output means based at least in part on processing of the input signal; and circuitry connecting the power source, the input means, the output means and the digital processing means; wherein the power source, the input means, the output means, the digital processing means and the circuitry are printed on a substantially flexible substrate. Use of packaging for holding a tobacco product or tobacco substitute includes such a product with an integrated electronic device.
Lighter holder for cigarette and cigar packs
A lighter holder for a cigarette or cigar package, comprising a substantially rectangular member foldable into the lighter holder, the rectangular member having a length and a width and five discrete panels defined in the length direction by foldable score lines in the width direction, the second and fourth panels being internally foldable and having apertures at corresponding locations in the width directions thereof.

Display packages, blanks for forming trap seal card and blank for forming display box
Display packages include a packaging including a cavity for holding an item, and a trap seal card including a first opening. The trap seal card retains the packaging such that the item held within the cavity is visible to a consumer through the first opening, and a portion of the packaging protrudes through the first opening. The trap seal card includes a front panel integral with a back panel. The packaging is between the front panel and the back panel. Blanks for the trap seal card include the back panel or the front panel having a first length and a second length less than the first length. The first and second lengths extend in a perpendicular direction to a first fold line. Blanks for the display box include a tab detachable from a remaining portion of the back panel when the back panel is separated along a ninth fold line.
