Rigid box for smoking articles having a parallelepiped shape and provided with: a first panel which defines a top wall; a second panel which is hinged to the first panel, folded 90 with respect to the first panel and defines a first lateral wall; a third panel which is hinged to the second panel, folded 90 with respect to the second panel and defines a bottom wall; a fourth panel which is hinged to the third panel, folded 90 with respect to the third panel and defines a second lateral wall opposite the first lateral wall; a fifth panel which is hinged to the fourth panel, is folded 90 with respect to the fourth panel and rests on and is glued to an inner surface of the first panel; a sixth panel which is hinged to the fifth panel, is folded 90 with respect to the fifth panel and divides the inner volume of the rigid box in two adjacent chambers; and a seventh panel which is hinged to the sixth panel, is folded 90 with respect to the sixth panel and rests on and is glued to an inner surface of the third panel.

A cigarette pack with an outer pack (10) in the embodiment as a hinge lid box and with an inner pack (11) as a sealed block is provided with an opening tab (21) for the inner pack (11) and with a closure label (23) for actuating the opening tab (21). The closure label (23) is fixed on the inner side of a lid front wall (34) by means of an actuating tab (28) and is movable with the lid (30) into the opening position. Pressure members (45, 46) cause the closure label (23) to be pressed with regions of glue onto the inner side of the lid front wall (34).

A personal cigarette dispensing receptacle for mechanically limiting ones access to their cigarettes includes a receptacle base having a receptacle top sized to fit thereon so as to form a cigarette enclosure. Integral with the receptacle base is an electronics housing electronics housing is operative to control a locking mechanism and an audible alarm on selectable time intervals. The locking mechanism includes an electromagnet integrated with the receptacle base and a ferromagnetic surface integrated with the receptacle top such that the receptacle top may be selectively fixed in place on the receptacle base. Through this action, the receptacle top may be locked in place for a closed time period, opened briefly for an open time period to allow a user to remove a cigarette, and then be automatically locked again to prevent access to another cigarette until the expiration of the closed time period.

A container of consumer goods comprises a housing (10a) and one or more consumer goods (18) wrapped in a wrapper (20) and contained within the housing (10a), the wrapper (20) comprising a plurality of intersecting lines of weakness (22) that together define a plurality of interconnected detachable portions (24) of the wrapper (20).

There is provided a container (30) of consumer goods, the container (30) comprising a wrapped bundle of consumer goods (10) comprising a wrapper (16) wrapped around one or more consumer goods. The wrapper (16) comprises a folded laminar blank comprising at least one carrier layer (12) and at least one conductive layer (13), the at least one conductive layer (13) forming at least one power transfer receiver coil (14) configured to wirelessly receive a supply of electrical energy. The container (30) further comprises an outer housing (31) containing the wrapped bundle of consumer goods (10), and an electronic device (38) connected to the at least one power transfer receiver coil (14) to receive the supply of electrical energy.

A container of consumer goods (18) comprises a housing (10) comprising a box (12) and a lid (14) closing the box. The consumer goods are wrapped in a wrapper (20) and contained within the housing (10), the wrapper (20) being partially exposed when the lid (14) is open and having a removable portion (22) that can be removed when the lid (14) is open to expose the consumer goods (18). The removable portion (22) of the wrapper (20) has a first part that is visible when the lid (14) is open and a second part that underlies one or more walls of the box (12) and is not visible when the lid (14) is open and the second part of the removable portion (22) of the wrapper (20) carries one or more indicia that are visually distinct from the part of the wrapper (20) that is exposed when the lid (14) is open.

An embodiment of a container may include a cap and a body. The cap may include a top portion, cap walls that form an outer perimeter, and a protruding end that forms an inner perimeter sized smaller than the outer perimeter. The body may include a bottom portion and body walls with distal outermost ends that form a cavity and a body perimeter. The body perimeter may be substantially the same as the outer perimeter. The body may also include upper outer and inner rims disposed around the entire distal outermost ends and having a channel between them. The channel may be sized to receive the protruding end in a friction seal when the container is in a closed position. No portion of the cap may be configured to extend into the cavity or beyond the body perimeter in the closed position.

An embodiment of a container may include a cap and a body. The cap may include a top portion, cap walls that form an outer perimeter, and a protruding end that forms an inner perimeter sized smaller than the outer perimeter. The body may include a bottom portion and body walls with distal outermost ends that form a cavity and a body perimeter. The body perimeter may be substantially the same as the outer perimeter. The body may also include upper outer and inner rims disposed around the entire distal outermost ends and having a channel between them. The channel may be sized to receive the protruding end in a friction seal when the container is in a closed position. No portion of the cap may be configured to extend into the cavity or beyond the body perimeter in the closed position.

A method of incorporating a flavor material into combination with a tobacco product is described herein. The method may include accessing a flavor delivery insert of a flavor additive accessory, associating the flavor delivery insert with at least one of the tobacco product and a package containing the tobacco product, and actively or passively releasing the flavor material from the flavor delivery insert such that the flavor material is incorporated with the tobacco product. Also described herein are flavor delivery inserts, tobacco products having flavor delivery inserts, and flavor additive accessories having flavor delivery inserts.
