A charging adapter assembly for charging a vaporizer device is described herein. In some embodiments, the charging adapter may include a housing including a coupling end configured to couple to the vaporizer device. The coupling end of the housing may include a chamber having a base and at least one chamber wall defining a perimeter of the chamber. The base may include at least one charging contact. The charging adapter may include a power adapter extending from the housing. The power adapter may be configured to provide an electrical pathway between a power source and the at least one charging contact. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Vaporizer apparatus having both a vacuum pump and a heating element, and method of using same

A vaporizer apparatus includes a pump housing, a main housing containing an evacuation chamber, and an operation unit attached to the main housing. The operation unit selectively isolates the evacuation chamber from communication with an air inlet. At least one vacuum pump is operable to generate a vacuum in the evacuation chamber, while a heating element also operates. A mouthpiece is attached to the main housing, and may be selectively placed in communication with the evacuation chamber. When oil is placed in the evacuation chamber and the operation unit is operated, the evacuation chamber is temporarily sealed off from the inlet, creating a vacuum sealed chamber connected with the pump(s). Then, the pump(s) is/are activated to reduce pressure in the evacuation chamber, and the oil is vaporized at reduced pressure and at an elevated temperature. When the operation unit is released, the evacuation chamber is emptied via the mouthpiece.

The method further includes introducing at least one aerosol condensation particle to an airflow path (103) of the shisha device. The airflow path (103) carries the aerosol generated by the aerosol generating substrate to an outlet (104) of the shisha device for delivery to a user.

The non-nicotine pod assembly has upstream and downstream ends and is configured to hold a non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation. The upstream end may define at least one upstream recess, and the downstream end may define at least one downstream recess. The device body defines a through hole configured to receive the non-nicotine pod assembly. The through hole includes an upstream sidewall and a downstream sidewall. The upstream sidewall may include at least one upstream protrusion, and the downstream sidewall may include at least one downstream protrusion. The at least one upstream protrusion and the at least one downstream protrusion may be configured to engage with the at least one upstream recess and the at least one downstream recess, respectively, so as to retain the non-nicotine pod assembly within the through hole of the device body.

Cartridges for vaporizer devices are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the cartridge can include a reservoir housing having a storage chamber and a dispensing chamber, and a vaporization chamber in communication with the dispensing chamber. The storage chamber is configured to hold a first fraction of a vaporizable material and the dispensing chamber is configured to hold a second fraction of the vaporizable material. The dispensing chamber is further configured to selectively dispense at least a first portion of the second fraction of the vaporizable material through at least one dispense opening in response to generation of one or more pressure pulses created within the dispensing chamber. The vaporizable chamber is configured to receive the dispensed vaporizable material from the dispensing chamber for vaporization by a first heating element to form a vaporized material.
