Compounds, tautomers and pharmaceutically acceptable salts of the compounds are disclosed, wherein the compounds have the structure of Formula Ia, ##STR00001##
as defined in the specification. Corresponding pharmaceutical compositions, methods of treatment, methods of synthesis, and intermediates are also disclosed.
COMPOSITION AND PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION
A photosensitive composition which tends to hardly occur excessive decrease of weight of a component (in which is a component other than a solvent, when the composition or the photosensitive composition includes the solvent) in the composition or the photosensitive composition by heating, and includes inorganic microparticles in a stably dispersed state, a cured product of the photosensitive composition, a compound which can be preferably added to the composition and the photosensitive composition, and a production method of the compound are provided. In a composition including a photopolymerizable compound (A) and inorganic microparticles (B) or a photosensitive composition including a photopolymerizable compound (A), inorganic microparticles (B), and an initiator, a compound with a specific structure having a radically polymerizable group-containing group or a cationically polymerizable group-containing group is used as the photopolymerizable compound (A).
Substituted bicyclic compounds
Disclosed are compounds of Formulas (I), (II), (III), (IV), and (V): ##STR00001##
and/or a salt thereof, wherein R.sub.1 is OH or OP(O)(OH).sub.2, and X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3, R.sub.2, R.sub.2a, R.sub.a, R.sub.b, and R.sub.c are defined herein. Also disclosed are methods of using such compounds as selective agonists for G protein-coupled receptor S1P.sub.1, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds. These compounds are useful in treating, preventing, or slowing the progression of diseases or disorders in a variety of therapeutic areas, such as autoimmune diseases and vascular disease.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT
The present invention provides compounds and methods for the treatment of LFA-1 mediated diseases. In particular, LFA-1 antagonists are described herein and these antagonists are used in the treatment of LFA-1 mediated diseases. One aspect of the invention provides for diagnosis of an LFA-1 mediated disease and administration of a LFA-1 antagonist, after the patient is diagnosed with a LFA-1 mediated disease. In some embodiments, the LFA-1 mediated diseases treated are dry eye disorders. Also provided herein are methods for identifying compounds which are LFA-1 antagonists.
