There is also provided a container where at least one of the first compartment and the second compartment comprises a recessed end, wherein the transfer section is formed by a recess when one end of the first compartment abuts one end of the second compartment. An aerosol-generating system is also provided, including an aerosol-generating device configured to receive the container.
HEATING ELEMENT MODULE FOR AN AEROSOL-GENERATING DEVICE
A heating element module for an aerosol-generating device is provided, including an elongate heating element having a heating portion; a heating element mount, wherein the heating element extends substantially perpendicularly from a first surface of the heating element mount; and first and second projections extending substantially perpendicularly from the first surface of the heating element mount and abutting first and second sides of the heating element. An aerosol-generating device incorporating the heating element module is also provided.
AEROSOL GENERATING ARTICLE INCLUDING A HEAT-CONDUCTING ELEMENT AND A SURFACE TREATMENT
There is provided an aerosol-generating article including a combustible heat source; an aerosol-forming substrate disposed in thermal communication with the combustible heat source; and a heat-conducting component disposed around at least a portion of the aerosol-forming substrate, the heat-conducting component including an outer surface forming at least part of an outer surface of the aerosol-generating article, wherein at least a portion of the outer surface of the heat-conducting component includes a surface coating and has an emissivity of less than about 0.6. A method of manufacturing the aerosol-generating article is also provided.
Smoking device
Apparatus and methods are described for use with a portion of plant material that includes at least one active ingredient. A vaporizing unit includes a heating element configured to heat the plant material, and a sensor configured to detect an indication of airflow rate through the vaporizing unit. Control circuitry is configured to receive an indication of the airflow rate through the vaporizing unit, and, in response thereto, to determine a smoking profile that is desired by the user. The control circuitry drives the heating element to vaporize the active ingredient of the plant material by heating the plant material according to the determined smoking profile. The control circuitry dynamically updates the smoking profile in response to changes in airflow rate over the course of a smoking session. Other applications are also described.
FLAVOR INHALER
This flavor inhaler is provided with a housing having an air flow path that spans continuously from an inlet to an outlet, and an atomizing part for atomizing an aerosol source without accompanying combustion of the aerosol source, wherein at least one portion of the air flow path is an aerosol flow path which is a flow path for an aerosol generated from the atomizing part, and the air blow resistance of the whole air flow path is not greater than 25 mmAq.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REPLACING AN APPLICATION INTERFACE OF AN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE AND ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE THEREWITH
A method for replacing an application interface of an electronic cigarette includes the steps of receiving a mode switching request after starting up a system, and displaying a network configuration interface based on the received mode switching request; acquiring a network address of a server when the electronic cigarette is connected to a network, and accessing the server based on the acquired network address of the server automatically; sending a request for downloading interface information to the server, and receiving the interface information from the server based on the request for downloading interface information; and replacing the application interface of the electronic cigarette with the interface information when receiving a request for replacing the application interface of the electronic cigarette. A device for replacing an application interface of an electronic cigarette and an electronic cigarette are also disclosed. With the method, the device and the electronic cigarette, the application interface of the electronic cigarette can be personalized when required.
BATTERY BOX OF ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
