Body slimming garment system

In an embodiment, a body slimming garment system comprises a connection strip bonded to an overshirt at the yoke of the overshirt. The connection strip extends and is bonded to an inner belt around the torso of a user. One or more wings are bonded to the posterior of the inner belt extending radially from the user. The inner belt comprises one or more hook-and-eye components and one or more clasp locker components arranged adjacently. A primary wing comprises one or more hook-and-eye components, and one or more clasping lockers on a side of the primary wing. A second side of the primary wing comprises one or more hook-and-eye components and one or more clasping locker components each arranged adjacently. A secondary wing comprises one or more hook-and-eye components and one or more clasp lockers.

A garment constructed of textile panels that provides proper fit across a variety of postures is provided. A plurality of primary textile panels have a first crumplability. At least one secondary textile panel has a second crumplability, the second crumplability being greater than the first crumplability. A plurality of seams joins the plurality of primary textile panels and the at least one secondary textile panel substantially along the edges of the panels to form a garment that when worn by a person in a non-extended posture covers intended portions of the person fully with only the plurality of primary textile panels extended and the at least one secondary textile panel non-extended. When the garment is worn by a person in an extended posture, the garment covers the intended portions of the person fully with both the plurality of primary textile panels and the at least one secondary textile panel extended.

An article of apparel may include a torso region with a front area, a back area, and a pair of side areas. At least a portion of each of the side areas are formed from a material with (a) a first air permeability when unexposed to water and (b) a second air permeability when exposed to water. The first air permeability may be less than 279 cm.sup.3/second per cm.sup.2 measured in accordance with ASTM D 737, and the second air permeability may be greater than 279 cm.sup.3/second per cm.sup.2 measured in accordance with ASTM D 737. In some configurations, at least a portion of the back area may be formed from the material. The article of apparel may be a shirt, and the article of apparel may include arm regions that extend outward from the torso region.

One or more permanent artworks may be deposited onto the garment prior to deposit of the rewritable layer, which may be contiguous or non-contiguous. A stencil is provided for allowing a user to write on rewritable areas while protecting adjacent areas of the garment. In one method for forming the rewritable area, a first portion of a permanent artwork and a second portion of the permanent artwork are successively deposited on the garment, followed by curing the permanent artwork and depositing a rewritable area on the garment.
