Skin Accessible Cuff
Openings in an industry standard long sleeved garment, form a portal to provide for the beneficial viewing of a wrist worn item and persistent contact with skin. The present invention is applicable to both standard long sleeve garments with attachable vents in the cuff area, found frequently on more formal garments, and is also applicable to industry standard long sleeve garments that are traditionally void of vented attachable openings in the cuff area, such as long sleeved T-shirts and long sleeved sweatshirts.
LAYERED THUMBHOLE STRUCTURE
A sleeve cuff is provided for a sleeve comprising an anterior patch affixed to the sleeve and covering at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, a distal strap affixed to the sleeve and spanning over at least a portion of a cutout in the sleeve, and the distal strap overlapping at least a portion of the anterior patch to form an aperture for receiving a thumb therethrough. The sleeve cuff has a plurality of configurations, including at least a closed configuration where the aperture is closed and minimizes the wearer's exposure to wind and air elements therethrough, and an opened configuration where the aperture is opened and minimizes the air penetration around the received thumb.

Sleeve assembly for a garment and method of manufacture
Method of manufacturing a sleeve assembly for a shirt including a sleeve adapted to receive an arm and a cuff. An outer surface of the cuff is connected to a lower edge region of the sleeve at a location between upper and lower edges of the cuff to define a cuff extension portion. The sleeve assembly is foldable from the unfolded condition to a first folded condition about the location at which the cuff is connected to the sleeve. The sleeve assembly is foldable from the first folded condition to a second folded condition about a location at which a free edge of the cuff abuts the sleeve to place a portion of the sleeve on an outer side of the sleeve assembly and an outer surface of the cuff extension portion between two portions of the sleeve.

LAYERED THUMBHOLE STRUCTURE
A tubular sleeve having a proximal end opposite a distal end, a cutout formed through the tubular sleeve proximate the distal end, a first panel having at least a trailing edge and spanning a first portion of the cutout, a second panel having at least a leading edge and a trailing edge and spanning a second portion of the cutout, and a third panel having at least a leading edge and spanning a third portion of the cutout. The second panel may overlap the first panel across the entire width of the cutout such that the second-panel leading edge is distal to the first-panel trailing edge. The third panel may overlap the second panel across the entire width of the cutout such that the third-panel leading edge is distal to the second-panel trailing edge. In some aspects, a mitten may be affixed to an interior surface of the tubular sleeve.
SLEEVE ASSEMBLY FOR A GARMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

Cuff for clothing article
A cuff for an article of clothing includes various components, such as one or more flexible members for adjusting a fit of the cuff. One flexible member might be used to tighten and loosen a fit of the cuff. Another flexible member might serve a dual purpose to adjust a fit of the cuff and to provide a thumb loop.
