The invention relates to a wearable garment and methods for preventing fungal type infections.

The present disclosure is a sock that has a leg that extends up a person's calf and a foot integral with the leg that cover's the person's foot. The sock further has a footie coupled to the foot, coupled partially up the sides of the foot, coupled partially to the heel turn, and coupled around the toes, the footie comprising a coarse material and configured to receive water such that when the sock is worn, the coarse material sloughs off dry skin, dead skin, callouses and removes toxins from the person's feet.

Apparatus for electrical stimulation includes a garment, including an elastic knitted fabric, which is shaped and sized to fit snugly over a part of a body of a human subject, and at least one electrode, which includes an electrically-conductive yarn interknitted with the elastic knitted fabric in a predefined location so as to make electrical contact with a skin surface of the human subject when the garment is worn on the body. Stimulation circuitry is configured to apply an alternating electrical current to the at least one electrode.

A sock with zones of varying numbers of layers is formed as a single tube on a circular knitting machine. At least one end of the tube is doubled back over a portion of the remainder of the tube to form a double layer first zone. The sock further includes a single layer zone adjacent to the double layer first zone, where no such folding occurs. Optionally, a second end of the tube may also be folded to create a third zone having two layers of material.

A footwear article may include a layer coupled to the sock in the sole area of the sock, a heel cushion coupled to the layer in the heel area of the sock, and a polymer material added to the sole area, the lower sides, the lower front side, and the lower rear side of the sock. A method for manufacturing a footwear article may include steps of placing a sock on a last; coupling a layer to the sock in the sole area; coupling a heel cushion to the layer in the heel area; placing a heel-area piece and a ball-area piece in a bottom portion of a mold; introducing the last and the sock into the mold; closing the mold; and injecting a polymer material into the bottom portion of the mold, so that the polymer material flows to the sole area, and the lower sides of the sock.

A compression sock includes a sock body made of a compression fabric which is formed by interweaving a plurality of first main and auxiliary yarns. Each first auxiliary yarn has a plurality of first yarn loops surrounding a corresponding first main yarn. The sock body includes a leg portion having a top end composed of a single layer elastic fabric which includes a plurality of interwoven second main and auxiliary yarns. Each second auxiliary yarn has a plurality of second yarn loops surrounding a corresponding second main yarn. A weaving density of the second yarn loops is smaller than that of the first yarn loops such that a binding pressure of the top end is smaller than that of the sock body.

Socks or stockings including integrated gripping systems include gripping material disposed on external surfaces of a sole of the sock and gripping material disposed on internal surfaces of the sock. In some examples, the integrated gripping systems comprise a first set of gripping dots comprising gripping material applied to external surfaces of the sole of the sock and a second set of gripping dots comprising gripping material applied to internal surfaces of the sole of the sock. In some examples, the integrated gripping systems comprise a knitted fabric including gripping yarn, which includes knitted gripping portions disposed on internal surfaces of the sock and external surfaces of the sock.

A Sock Having Continuous Storage Chamber includes a sock body and a chamber material that together form a circumferential storage chamber. The circumferential chamber is formed with an aperture sized to receive a zipper base with a zipper having a zipper pull to open and close the zipper to provide access to the chamber. The chamber material may include a mesh allowing air to pass through the mesh to ventilate the chamber and allow, depending on use, the scent of a dog treat to pass therethrough.
