Fungal textile materials and leather analogs
Textile compositions comprising at least one filamentous fungus are disclosed, as are methods for making and using such textile compositions. Embodiments of the textile compositions generally include at least one of a plasticizer, a polymer, and a crosslinker, in addition to the filamentous fungus. The disclosed textile compositions are particularly useful as analogs or substitutes for conventional textile compositions, including but not limited to leather.
MOUNT FOR A PATIENT MONITORING DEVICE
A mount for a device configured to monitor the movements or other activities of patient. Aspects include a monitoring unit and base, where the base may further include a pad with one or more pins extending into the base. The pad may be positioned inside a garment worn by a patient, the pins passing through the garment and electrically connecting to circuits in the fabric of the garment (e.g. a sock worn by the patient). The circuits may include sensors which are response to changes in pressure caused by patient movement. Output from the sensors may be carried by the circuits in the garment to the pins in the pad, and from there through the garment and into the base and the monitoring unit for processing and reporting to caregivers as needed.

COMPRESSION GARMENT THAT IS EASY TO SLIP ON/OFF
A compression garment that is easy to slip on/off comprising a compression knitted piece comprising at least one stitch ground yarn and at least one elastic yarn, in particular inlaid yarn, and at least one hairy yarn knitted into the knitted piece so that the knitted piece has, according to all or part of its inner face and of its outer face, hairs projecting from the latter, said hairs being configured so as to be oriented in the direction in which the knitted piece is slipped on and/or off.

NON-SLIP FOOTWEAR HAVING CUSHION SEPARATION PART
The present invention relates to a non-slip footwear having a cushion separation part, in which a non-slip material is formed on an inner surface and an outer surface of a bottom of a footwear such as a sock, wherein the non-slip material of the inside and the outside are arranged alternately and a cushion separation part is formed therebetween such that maintenance of a non-slip function and prevention of skin injury are smoothly performed.
Toeless garment
A garment, such as sheer hosiery or other toeless garment, includes a body portion configured to encircle at least part of a lower leg of a wearer of the garment, and a welt portion adjacent an end of the body portion. The welt portion is configured to encircle a foot of the wearer, and defines an opening for a portion of the foot of the wearer. The welt portion can include a turned welt.
METHOD FOR REGISTRATION AND ACTIVATION OF TEMPERATURE-SENSING GARMENTS
A system for monitoring a user may include a garment configured to be placed on a foot of the user, a packaging sensor coupled to the garment and configured to detect separation of the garment and packaging associated with the garment, and at least one processor configured to transition the garment from an inactive state to an active state at least partially based on the separation of the garment and packaging. A method for operating a temperature-sensing garment includes operating the garment in an inactive state, detecting separation of the garment and packaging associated with the garment, predicting that the garment is placed on a user, and transitioning the garment from the inactive state to an active state in which the garment is configured to measure at least one temperature of the user.
