The present disclosure provides articles of manufacture with improved moisture control as well as methods of making such articles. In some embodiments, provided herein the article has a fabric with an outer hydrophobic surface and an inner surface with hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions where the hydrophilic regions can form a pattern, allowing moisture to collect and move through the pattern, and the hydrophobic regions prevent the whole inner surface from becoming moist and the outer hydrophobic regions does not show moisture. The fabric may be used to make garments. The entire inner surface of the garment may be patterned with hydrophilic patterns for partial absorption, and the entire outer surface of the garment is hydrophobic, thereby preventing perspiration from being seen from outside of the garment. Further provided herein are methods of making fabrics with improved moisture control including by printing or knitting.

A garment may be summarized as including: at least one non-toxic elastomeric sheet, at least one non-toxic textile sheet, and stitches that physically couple the non-toxic elastomeric sheet(s) with the non-toxic textile sheet(s). The garment may exclude all metals and toxic materials. The garment may be a foundation garment, for example a brassiere. In a brassiere the non-toxic elastomeric sheet(s) and the non-toxic textile sheet(s) form a front bust portion and a band, the front bust portion which includes at least one panel sized and dimensioned to retain a pair of breasts when the brassiere is worn, and the band which physically couples opposed laterally spaced apart ends of the front bust portion together when the brassiere is worn. The brassiere can have distinct cups, or may not have distinct cups, for instance a sports bra style. The garment can hold, or include, a prosthetic.

ELASTIC MEMBER AND DISPOSABLE WEARING ARTICLE INCLUDING ELASTIC MEMBER

In an elastic member, a first sheet layer and a second sheet layer are formed of a material having translucency. An elastic sheet can be visually recognized through the first sheet layer and the second sheet layer. First non-joint bands linearly continuous along a first direction intersecting an stretchable direction at an acute angle are repeatedly present at intervals in a direction orthogonal to the first direction as non-joint bands in which a portion not having sheet joined portions is continuous in an unfolded state in a stretchable region. Sheet joined portions and joint holes are provided at intervals between adjacent first non-joint bands in the stretchable region. A unit structure including a plurality of first non-joint bands having different first widths determined as widths in the direction orthogonal to the first direction is repeatedly present in the direction orthogonal to the first direction in the stretchable region.

TEXTILE UNDERGARMENT WITH SWEAT PROTECTION
20200214364 · 2020-07-09 · ·

A textile undergarment includes an inner side directed toward a body of a wearer, and an outer side which is arranged opposite to the inner side. At least one region of the textile undergarment is formed in at least two layers via an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer forms the inner side of the textile undergarment from a liquid-absorbing textile material. The outer layer forms the outer side of the textile undergarment from a 3D knitted fabric which prevents a transfer of a liquid from the inner layer to the outer side of the textile undergarment.

An elastic member which has low stretching stress in a stretchable direction in a stretchable structure of an elastic sheet and is excellent in a feeling of wearing in the case of being applied to an absorbent article. An elastic sheet stretchable structure is provide in which an elastic film is stacked between a first sheet layer having air permeability and a second sheet layer having air permeability, and the first sheet layer and the second sheet layer are bonded through joint holes penetrating the elastic film at a plurality of sheet joined portions arranged at intervals. The joined portions have first joined portions and second joined portions, a plurality of rows of the first joined portions is formed at intervals in a stretchable direction, and rows of the second joined portions having a short length are formed between the rows of the first joined portions.

Non-chemical, mosquito bite-resistant garments

An insect-proof, form-fitting undergarment is provided having top and bottom parts formed of selected breathable materials and having omnidirectional stretch properties, and which top and bottom parts may be securely joined at the waist to prevent insect entry.
