DNABII vaccines and antibodies with enhanced activity
The disclosure provides methods and compositions that are useful to lessen and/or cure bacterial biofilms and treat diseases or disorders associated with biofilms using one or more novel polypeptide vaccines, antibodies, antibody fragments and compositions. Bacteria that cannot form functional biofilms are more readily cleared by the remainder of the host's immune system and/or traditional antibiotics.
Fractal combination therapy
Contemplated compositions and methods generate a durable immune synapse and so lead to activated T-cells and memory T-cell formation by use of selected co-stimulatory receptors and their ligands in conjunction with selected neoepitopes. Moreover, immune competent cells are attracted into a tumor microenvironment after activation of the T-cells using hybrid or chimeric binding proteins that comprise a chemokine portion and that target components of necrotic cells.
PD1-CD70 fusion protein and methods of use thereof
PD1-CD70 fusion proteins are provided. Accordingly, there is provided a PD1-CD70 fusion protein comprising a single amino acid linker between the PD1 and the CD70. Also there is provided a PD1-CD70 fusion protein, wherein the PD1 amino acid is 123-166 amino acids in length and/or wherein the PD1 amino acid sequence comprises SEQ ID NO: 2 and/or wherein the fusion protein is in a form of at least a homo-trimer. Also provided are polynucleotides and nucleic acid constructs encoding the PD1-CD70 fusion protein, host-cells expressing the PD1-CD70 fusion protein and methods of use thereof.
Genetically modified non-human animal with human or chimeric LAG3
The present disclosure relates to genetically modified non-human animals that express a human or chimeric (e.g., humanized) LAG3, and methods of use thereof.
Enzymes for trimming of glycoproteins
The invention concerns fusion proteins, wherein two endoglycosidases are fused, possibly via a linker. The fusion enzymes according to the invention have structure (1): EndoX-(L).sub.p-EndoY (1), wherein EndoX is an endoglycosidase, EndoY is an endoglycosidase distinct from EndoX, L is a linker and p is 0 or 1. Such fusion enzymes capable of trimming glycoproteins comprising at least two distinct glycoforms in a single step. The invention further concerns the use of the fusion enzyme according to the invention for trimming glycoproteins. In another aspect, the invention relates to the process of production of the fusion enzyme. In a further aspect, the inventions concerns a process for trimming glycoproteins, comprising trimming the glycoprotein with a fusion enzyme according to the invention, to obtain a trimmed glycoprotein.
REGULATABLE CHIMERIC ANTIGEN RECEPTOR
Compositions and methods relating to regulatable chimeric antigen receptors (RCARs), where the intracellular signaling or proliferation of the RCAR can be controlled to optimize the use of an RCAR-expressing cell to provide an immune response, are provided. For example, a RCAR can comprise a dimerization switch that, upon the presence of a dimerization molecule, can couple an intracellular signaling domain to an extracellular recognition element, e.g., an antigen binding domain, an inhibitory counter ligand binding domain, or costimulatory ECD domain. An RCAR can be engineered to include an appropriate antigen binding domain that is specific to a desired antigen target and used in the treatment of a disease.
NOROVIRUS FUSION PROTEINS AND VLPS COMPRISING NOROVIRUS FUSION PROTEINS
Nucleic acids encoding norovirus VP1 fusion proteins and VLPs comprising the norovirus VP1 fusion proteins are provided. Methods for norovirus VP1 fusion protein and norovirus VLP production in plants are also described. The VP1 fusion protein comprises, a first sequence encoding an S domain derived from a first norovirus strain, and a second sequence encoding a P domain derived from a second norovirus strain.
BINDING PROTEINS FOR THE ENZYME ACID ALPHA GLUCOSIDASE (GAA) AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to the field of protein purification and relates in particular to novel proteins that bind specifically to acid alpha glucosidase (GAA). The invention further relates to fusion proteins comprising novel proteins that bind specifically to GAA. In addition, the invention relates to affinity matrices comprising the GAA binding proteins of the invention. The invention also relates to a use of these GAA binding proteins or affinity matrices for affinity purification of GAA and to methods of affinity purification of GAA using the GAA binding proteins of the invention. Further uses relate to analytical methods for the determination of GAA in liquids.
IMMUNOTHERAPEUTIC COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure provides compositions and methods useful for treating Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) which comprise virus-like particles (VLPs) comprising murine leukemia virus (MLV) core proteins and the human cytomegalovirus epitopes, gB and pp65, formulated with an adjuvant comprising a saponin and a TLR4 agonist.
INTERFERON-ASSOCIATED ANTIGEN BINDING PROTEINS FOR USE IN TREATING HEPATITIS B INFECTION
The present invention relates to novel interferon-associated antigen binding proteins as well as nucleic acids and expression vectors encoding such interferon-associated antigen binding proteins for use in therapy, more particularly for use in treating hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising such interferon-associated antigen binding proteins or nucleic acids or expression vectors for use in therapy, more particularly for use in treating hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The present invention further provides methods of treatment using such interferon-associated antigen binding proteins or nucleic acids or expression vectors or pharmaceutical compositions. Said novel interferon-associated antigen binding proteins afford beneficial improvements over the current state of the art, for example in that they effectively disrupt viral replication and thereby reduce HBV viral load.
