The regeneration method includes a step of preparing the blade rubber to be regenerated, and a cutting step of entering a cutting blade into the blade rubber from a side portion of the blade rubber at one end portion A of the blade rubber, and moving the cutting blade relative to the blade rubber toward another end portion B of the blade rubber to remove at least a part of the contact portion, and a storage elastic modulus of the blade rubber at a vibration frequency of 110.sup.3 Hz is 90.0 to 500.0 MPa, and a breaking stress of the blade rubber is 4.2 to 30.0 MPa.
