SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR RECOVERING VALUABLES FROM VENT GAS IN POLYOLEFIN PRODUCTION
A system for recovering valuables from vent gas in polyolefin production is disclosed. The system includes a compression device, a drying device, a condensation and separation device, and a membrane separation device that are connected to each other in sequence. The drying device includes a first adsorption bed and a second adsorption bed which are in parallel connection with each other and in which a desiccant is provided, and a third adsorption bed which is in communication with the first adsorption bed and the second adsorption bed respectively and in which a desiccant is provided. The first adsorption bed and the second adsorption bed are in an adsorption process and a regeneration process alternately, and the third adsorption bed is in an auxiliary regeneration process. A process for recovering valuables from vent gas in polyolefin production is further disclosed. When the system and the process are used, one part of the normal temperature compressed gas stream output by the compression device directly serves as a regeneration gas for regeneration of saturated desiccant in adsorption bed, and it is unnecessary for external supply of regeneration gas, whereby the actual recovery of nitrogen can be effectively improved. Membrane separation technology is combined, and hydrocarbon recovery can be effectively improved as well.

Process and apparatus to determine the degree of separation of two solution streams
The invention provides a method, and apparatus, for determining the degree of separation (DOS) of a polymer solution into a polymer-rich stream and a solvent-rich stream, said method comprising the following: adding to a liquid-liquid separation vessel the polymer solution, which comprises a polymer, a solvent and an anti-solvent; separating the polymer solution into a polymer-rich stream and a solvent-rich stream; removing at least some the polymer-rich stream from at least one outlet P on the vessel, and measuring the actual solution density of this polymer-rich stream using at least one flow meter; removing at least some of the solvent-rich stream from at least one other outlet S on the vessel, and measuring the actual density of the solvent-rich stream using at least one flow meter; and wherein the degree of separation (DOS) is determined by the following equation (Eqn. 1):
DOS=[actual solution density (polymer-rich steam)−actual solution density (solvent-rich stream)]/[theoretical solution density (polymer-rich stream)−theoretical solution density (solvent-rich stream)] (Eqn. 1).
PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF GRAFT COPOLYMER POWDER COMPOSITIONS AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITIONS
The present invention is directed to a process for the production of graft copolymer compositions which are based on acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) or acrylonitrile- butadiene-styrene (ABS) graft copolymers. The graft copolymers compositions are obtained by emulsion polymerization and afterwards precipitation, dewatering, drying and optionally cooling of the dried graft copolymer powder, wherein the graft copolymer B powder obtained is mixed with an aeration gas, preferably air and/or nitrogen, wherein the bulk density of the graft copolymer B powder is equal or less than 98.5% of the bulk density of the non-aerated graft copolymer B, during the whole aeration step. The graft copolymer powders show higher powder flowability and less tendency of caking during storage, for example in a silo.
