RMA crosslinkable compositions and RMA crosslinkable resins for easy to clean coatings
A RMA crosslinkable coating composition, a method for the preparation thereof and a resulting coating having easy to clean properties useful in applications like graffiti resistant, sanitisable coatings and in flooring, the composition comprising RMA crosslinkable component with at least 2 RMA donor groups and at least 2 RMA acceptor groups characterized by having fatty components selected from the group of fatty acids, fatty alcohols, fatty amines, fatty thiols and dimeric fatty acid in an amount represented by an Oil Content OC between 0, preferably 4 and 40 wt %, and crosslinking density XLD of at least 1.4 a glass transition Tg of at least 290 in combination providing a easy to clean value ΔE less than 20. The invention also relates to RMA crosslinkable fatty resins for use in RMA crosslinkable top coatings.
PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING CURED PRODUCT OF FLUORORESIN, FLUORORESIN, FLUORORESIN FILM, BANK AND DISPLAY ELEMENT
An object of the present invention is to provide a photosensitive resin composition having good liquid repellency. The photosensitive resin composition of the present invention at least contains a fluororesin having a crosslinking site, a solvent, and a photopolymerization initiator, and the fluororesin contains a repeating unit derived from a hydrocarbon having a fluorine atom.
ALKYLATED AROMATIC COMPOUNDS FOR HIGH VISCOSITY APPLICATIONS
The present disclosure generally relates to alkylated aromatic compounds useful as basestocks and additives for high viscosity applications. In an embodiment is provided an alkylated aromatic compound. In another embodiment is provided a lubricant formulation that includes an alkylated aromatic compound. In another embodiment is provided a lubricant formulation that includes an alkylated aromatic compound, an additive, and optionally, a Group III basestock, Group IV basestock, Group V basestock, or a combination thereof, the Group V basestock being different than the alkylated aromatic compound. In another embodiment is provided a method of forming a lubricant formulation that includes introducing a mPAO, an aromatic compound, and an acid catalyst to a reactor under reactor conditions to form an alkylated aromatic compound; and introducing the alkylated aromatic compound to an additive to form a lubricant formulation.

Polar silane linkers are provided that attach to resins to form silane-functionalized resins. The functionalized resins can be bound to hydroxyl groups on the surface of silica particles to improve the dispersibility of the silica particles in rubber mixtures. Further disclosed are synthetic routes to provide the silane-functionalized resins, as well as various uses and end products that benefit from the unexpected properties of the silane-functionalized resins. Silane-functionalized resins impart remarkable properties on various rubber compositions, such as tires, belts, hoses, brakes, and the like. Automobile tires incorporating the silane-functionalized resins are shown to possess excellent results in balancing the properties of rolling resistance, tire wear, and wet braking performance.
