WIRE GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
20170332706 · 2017-11-23 ·

Disclosed are garments with selective wire management systems, as well as ports for adapting garments without selective wire management systems. Garments for wire management may include one or more ports which define an aperture through which headphone wire is passed. The ports provide both support to the headphone wire as well as to the garment, thereby preventing tearing of the garment more than is necessary to accommodate the wire. Further, ports may be selectively placed on a garment, as desired, to provide optimal entrance and exit placement of headphone wire. In addition to the ports, a channel may connect the ports, thereby selectively routing the wire along the garment.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATED TO MONITORING, COMMUNICATING, AND/OR ANALYZING BODILY MOVEMENTS

Systems and methods according to the present invention include a garment outfitted with a primary circuit board and peripheral sensors to collect data on limb movements and orientation and transmit them to a related mobile application. The application involves an orientation process comprising a photo of the user and a user interface-driven marker system. The application also involves a calibration system involving quaternion calculations. Once a user has completed orientation and calibration processes, the application can receive the data, calculate the sensors' positions, and display them on a 2-dimensional model in real-time.

Head-mounted physiological signal monitoring system, devices and methods

Hat, helmet, and other headgear apparatus includes dry electrophysiological electrodes and, optionally, other physiological and/or environmental sensors to measure signals such as ECG from the head of a subject. Methods of use of such apparatus to provide fitness, health, or other measured or derived, estimated, or predicted metrics are also disclosed.

Apparel with pressure sensor control

An article of apparel and method include a structure configured to enclose a human body part, a pressure sensor array including multiple pressure sensors separately positioned at locations within the structure, wherein each pressure sensor is configured to output a signal indicative of an amount of pressure being exerted on the pressure sensor by an external mechanical force, an electronic display, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive signals from the pressure sensors and, based on a sequence and a timing of the signals as received, determine a command related to a function of a device. The electronic display is configured to display information related to the function.

SPORTSWEAR COOLING SYSTEM

A sportswear cooling system for enhancing physical activity for a wearer is provided which has a first compartment containing a cooling solution and a second compartment containing water. The first compartment is positioned within the second compartment and the walls of the first compartment are adapted to be ruptured so that when the cooling solution and water combine an endothermic reaction is produced calculated to cool a portion of the body upon application.

Fabric control device

A fabric-based item may include a housing that is covered in fabric. Areas of the fabric may overlap input circuitry such as button switches, touch sensors, force sensors, proximity sensors, and other sensing circuitry and may overlap other components such as light-emitting components and haptic output devices. The fabric-based item may include control circuitry that gathers user input from the input circuitry and wireless communications circuitry that the control circuitry uses to transmit remote control commands and other wireless signals in response information from the input circuitry. The fabric-based item may have a weight that is located in the housing to orient the housing in a desired direction when the housing rests on a surface. A movable weight may tilt the housing in response to proximity sensor signals or other input. Portions of the fabric may overlap light-emitting components and optical fiber configured to emit light.
