The present invention relates to a textile device (1) configured to cooperate with an electronic device (2) comprising conductive path (21) having a path connection area (22). The textile device (1) comprises a first portion of textile (10) including a conductive zone (11) connected to a stretchable connection area (12) configured to be in contact with the path connection area (22) of the conductive path (21) so as to ensure an electrical connection between said textile device (1) and said electronic device (2). The stretchable connection area (12) comprises a conductive textile or a textile covered with a flexible conductive film. The textile device (1) also comprises a compartment, defined between the first portion of textile (10) and a second portion of textile (13), configured to maintain the electronic device (2) in a predefined position ensuring electrical connection between the stretchable connection area (12) and the path connection area (22).
ASSISTING A VISUALLY IMPAIRED USER TO GRIP AN OBJECT
The present disclosure relates to system(s) and device for assisting a visually impaired user to grip objects. The system may receive an image of an object in real-time and identify a reference image corresponding to the image by comparing the image with reference images. Further, the system may identify a reference tactile image corresponding to the reference image and generate a first set of audio instructions for assisting the visually impaired user to grip the object based on the reference tactile image. Further, the system may receive a tactile image from a tactile glove of the visually impaired user and compare the tactile image with the reference tactile image to identify pressure variation data. Furthermore, the system may generate a second set of audio instructions for guiding the visually impaired user to grip the object base on a second set of audio instructions generated using the pressure variation data.
Portable battery pack comprising a battery enclosed by a wearable and replaceable pouch or skin
A portable battery pack comprising a battery enclosed by a wearable and replaceable pouch or skin is disclosed, wherein the pouch or skin can be provided in different colors and/or patterns. Further, the pouch or skin can be MOLLE-compatible. The battery comprises a battery element housed between a battery cover and a back plate, wherein the battery element, battery cover, and back plate have a slight curvature or contour. Further, the battery comprises flexible leads.
Smart Article Visual Communication Based On Facial Movement
A smart mask includes a first material layer, at least one display, a first sensor, and a control module. The first material layer is configured to cover a portion of a face of a person. The at least one display is connected to the first material layer and configured to display images over a mouth of the person. The first sensor is configured to detect movement of the mouth of the person and generate a signal indicative of the movement of the mouth. The control module is configured to receive the signal and display the images on the display based on the movement of the mouth.
WEARABLE ARTICLE FOR A PERFORMANCE CAPTURE SYSTEM
Embodiments provide a wearable article for a performance capture system. In some embodiments, a wearable article includes one or more regions, where the one or more regions are configured to be worn on at least a portion of a body of a user, where the one or more regions have a first pliability and a second pliability, where the first pliability and the second pliability are different pliabilities, and where at least one of the one or more regions are configured to hold devices in predetermined positions while maintaining shape and respective pliability. In some embodiments, the wearable article also includes a plurality of mounting mechanisms coupled to the one or more regions for mounting one or more reference markers to be used for position determination.
Headlamp with Lateral/Rear Signaling
A headlamp with frontal lamps and rear signaling is presented. The headlamp uses part of the light produced in the front lamp to achieve rear and/or lateral lighting and signaling. The headlamp has a housing which includes a light module, a light source and a holding strip for allowing the housing to be fixed to the head of a user. Tthe light module contains a module for connecting one or more optical fiber(s). The holding strip contains one or more optical fiber(s) having first and second ends. The first end is coupled to the connection module. The second end is coupled to at least one optical diffuser. A method of providing a headlamp with frontal lamps and rear signaling is also presented.
Swimming Aids
The embodiments relate to a swimming aid in the form of an inflatable rash vest or rash guard, the rash guard including neckline, a front section and a back section which collectively substantially cover a person's torso. The front section and/or back section of the garment consists of an outer layer, and an inner layer. The inner layer is connected to the outer layer using a non-permeable barrier to the outer layer such that the inner layer forms a partially sealed chamber in the form of an inverted pocket.
Safety Garment
A safety garment includes at least one sensor unit for detecting at least one user-specific characteristic value and/or at least one environment-specific characteristic value. The safety garment further includes at least one communication unit configured to transmit the detected user-specific characteristic value and/or the detected environment-specific characteristic value to at least one other safety garment in order to communicate with the other safety garment.
WEARABLE PARTIAL DISCHARGE DETECTOR
Disclosed herein is a system for detecting a partial discharge from electrical equipment. The system includes a vest dimensioned for wear by a user. An antenna is associated with the vest, and a receiver is coupled to the antenna and associated with the vest. At least one indicator device is associated with the best. Circuitry is associated with the vest and coupled to the receiver. The circuitry is configured to monitor ambient radiofrequency energy in real time, and determine that the partial discharge has occurred as a function of the ambient radiofrequency energy. The circuitry actuates the at least one indicator device as a function of the determination that the partial discharge has occurred, and transmits the determination that the partial charge has occurred to a control station via the wireless transmitter.
