The apparel thermo-regulatory system comprises an apparel item, a dimensionally stable frame comprising at least one aperture that is affixed to an outer-facing surface of the apparel item at a predetermined location, an absorbent material applied to an exposed face of the dimensionally stable frame, and at least one thermoelectric module that is releasably positioned within the aperture of the dimensionally stable frame.
System and method for an on-demand rewritable, color display on soft material
System and method for a rewritable color display on soft material comprising: a textile platform; a canvas display, comprising color changing substances, polymers, and a stabilizer. The system functions as a textile (e.g. article of clothing, blanket, sport pennant, etc.) with a rewritable display, wherein the user may alter the design on the canvas display. The system may further include a processor module, wherein the processor module is configured to alter the rewritable display design and/or clean the textile platform.
GARMENT WITH SAFETY FEATURES
A garment with safety features is described. The garment includes a covering configured to cover at least a portion of a wearer. The covering extends between a first location and a second location spaced apart from the first location. The garment includes a flexible panel with the covering overlaying the flexible panel. The flexible panel is attached to the covering at the first location and the second location. The covering comprises excess material between the first location and the second location, the excess material being configured to accommodate stretching of the flexible panel.
Voice modulation apparatus and methods
A modular sound modulation system that may be incorporated into a wearable harness for use beneath a costume or clothing. The system includes a sound modulation unit having an amplifier and programmable sound modulation controller. Power is provided via a wired remote power supply. Speakers are disposed at key locations to cause modulated sound to appear to come from the head of the costume. A high-fidelity microphone captured vocalizations from the wearer. The system may further include a transmitted to broadcast or store a recording of the modulated sound.
Garment with cell phone pockets
This invention is directed toward a garment that is comfortable to wear and can safely, with easy accessibility, securely and inconspicuously store a cell phone and other important items. A preferred embodiment of the invention is a pair of shorts, with an elasticized waistband that can be tightened by a non-elasticized drawstring cord. There is a seamless, knitted inner layer similar to “boy short” style underwear. This seamless, knitted “boy short” style underwear inner layer provides comfort to the user. Two vertical side hip interior pockets are sewn onto the inner liner of the seamless, knitted “boy short” underwear at the hips of the user, making it comfortable for a user to carry a cell phone and/or other items. The shorts have a thin line of reflective fabric sewn into the hip seams and on the hem of the shorts, providing safety for the user during times of low visibility.
Posture Control and Therapy System
A garment for wear by a person and a garment system of garments includes bands and elastic portions to apply tension and support to muscle groups when the garment is worn by a wearer. The garments include a vest with crossed back bands within the garment that are selectively fastenable to the exterior of the vest to exert tension from the shoulders to the hips. Also included is a cape with shoulder straps and hip straps to apply further tension when attached to the vest or another garment. A shirt includes a central back panel and one or more shoulder straps, the central panel extending to side straps at the hip. Shorts with a spiral strap apply tension from the body core to the leg of the wearer. Shirts and tops for women including for maternity wear include support specific to a woman's body. Some of the shirts, tops, shorts and vests have wearer adjustable straps to vary the tension applied by the straps. Auxiliary straps with fasteners are available for applying additional tension when mounted on the garments.

CONDUCTIVE BAND FOR BIOSENSING GARMENTS
Embodiments described herein relate generally to wearable electronic biosensing garments. In some embodiments, an apparatus comprises a biosensing garment and a plurality of electrical connectors that are mechanically fastened to the biosensing garment. A plurality of printed electrodes is disposed on the biosensing garment, each being electrically coupled, via a corresponding conductive pathway, to a corresponding one of the plurality of electrical connectors. The apparatus can further include an elongate member including a conductive member that is coupled to a plurality of elastic members in a curved pattern and that is configured to change from a first configuration to a second configuration as the elongate member stretches. The change from the first configuration to the second configuration can result in a change of inductance of the conductive member.
GARMENT LIFE CYCLE TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A garment life cycle tracking system utilizes a Radio Frequency Identification, RFID, device to retrieve life cycle data about the garment. The RFID device may be scanned by an interactive device, such as a mobile phone, and the RFID identifier may be used to retrieve data from a database, such as through a website interface. A mobile phone or other computing device may have an application software that interfaces with the database or website. Life cycle data may include date of manufacture, former locations of purchase, date of purchase, cost of garment, date of return of garment, type of garment and the like. A customer may track a garment after returning a garment to see when and where the garment is subsequently purchased. This system may promote recycling of garments and reduce the environmental impact of garment production.
