DETACHABLE HOOD SYSTEM
A garment that includes a right chest panel; a left chest panel; a back panel; and a collar coupled to the right chest panel, the left chest panel, and the back panel. The collar may include a collar zipper controlling access to a collar pocket, the collar zipper extending around at least 80% of an outer circumference of the collar; and a collar-side row of hood-connection zipper teeth positioned in the collar pocket, the collar-side row of hood-connection zipper teeth having a length that is at least 80% of a length of the collar zipper. The garment may also include a removable hood. The removable hood may include a hood-side row of hood-connection zipper teeth, the hood-side row of hood-connection zipper teeth having a length that is substantially equal to the length of the collar-side row of hood-connection zipper teeth.
Stowable garment system with quick release mechanism
Aspects herein are directed to a stowable garment system that allows for quick deployment and donning of an upper-body garment that is stowed within a pouch located on the front of a belt structure configured to encircle the waist of a wearer. The garment comprises at least a front section and a back section, where a portion of the front section is attached to the pouch. The garment further comprises a first tab extending from a bottom margin at a first side of the back section and a second tab extending from the bottom margin at a second opposite side of the back section. When stowed within the pouch, the tabs extend through one or more openings in the pouch. The wearer may exert tension on the tabs to actuate a quick-release mechanism causing the pouch to open, and enabling the garment to be deployed and donned.
GAMER HOODIE
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, an upper torso garment that includes a torso section extending from a waist region to a neck region, the torso section including a front region and a back region. The torso section includes a left torso region and a right torso region. The upper torso garment includes a first reversed pocket positioned on a left lateral side of the front region of the torso section and proximate to the waist region, the first reversed pocket including a first pocket opening oriented at least partly toward the right torso region, and a second reversed pocket positioned on a right lateral side of the front region of the torso section and proximate to the waist region, the second reversed pocket comprising a second pocket opening oriented at least partly toward the left torso region.

Aspects herein provide for a garment and a garment system for an upper-body that is easily donned and doffed by a wearer, and may be stowed about the wearer during activity. Some exemplary aspects comprise a first and second closure mechanism on an upper part of a torso portion that may be used to facilitate easy donning and doffing. In some exemplary aspects, the garment and garment system provide for one or more tensioning mechanisms that may be used to facilitate stowing. In some exemplary aspects, the garment and garment system comprise one or more pockets that may have openings on an interior aspect and/or an exterior aspect to allow access to the pocket when the article is fully donned or when in a stowed state.

Systems and methods for integrating and using sensor system in articles of apparel are provided. The system may include an apparel piece sized and dimensioned to be worn on a user and a sensor system integrated with the apparel piece. The sensor system may include at least one stretchable capacitive sensor positioned on the apparel piece so as to measure a biometric parameter of the user when the apparel piece is worn, an illumination system configured to provide illumination in a specified illumination area based on the measured biometric parameter of the user, and a control module to control one or more settings of the illumination system.
Sense-Enabled Apparel
Systems and methods for integrating and using sensor system in articles of apparel are provided. The system may include an apparel piece sized and dimensioned to be worn on a user and a sensor system integrated with the apparel piece. An article of clothing adapted for use by a wearer, the article of clothing including an outer body and an inner body. The outer body includes a front sheet, a collar portion, a pair of sleeves, each sleeve extending from one side of the outer body. The inner body includes a front sheet, a collar portion, a pair of sleeves, each sleeve extending from one side of the inner body. The collar portion of the inner body is attached to the collar portion of the outer body. The inner body is disposed within the outer body. In one embodiment, a pocket is disposed on the outer surface of the front sheet of the inner body. In another embodiment, a pocket is disposed on the inner surface of the front sheet of the outer body.
Outerwear Garments for Use with Child Safety Seats
In some embodiments, a hood and outerwear garments with single attachment points for children wearing coats in car safety seats are disclosed. In some embodiments, the outerwear garment is comprised of a winter bonnet having an insulated lining and a single attachment point at the upper anterior portion of a coat. In some embodiments, the single anterior attachment prevents the hood from being inadvertently lodged behind a child—potentially limiting the safety seat's ability to secure the child. An object of some embodiments is to prevent a hood from interfering with car safety seat restraint systems.
TRANSFORMABLE GARMENT
Examples of a garment, such as a jacket, vest, or shirt, having an upper portion and a detachable lower portion are described. When detached, the lower portion can be transformed into an item having a different function such as that of a travel pillow, scarf, or hat. With the lower portion detached, the upper portion is transformed into a shorter length garment.
