Waistband system for garments
In certain embodiments, the inventive subject matter it is directed to a garment, e.g., boardshorts that includes pelvic and leg regions, the pelvic region being free of a fly structure in a fly region. A waistband system included at the top of the pelvic region for encircling the user's waist. The waistband system has an elastic housing configured to fully or partially encircle a user's waist, an elastically tensionable element having a portion slidably disposed in the housing and through an opening formed in the housing. A lock is associated with the tensionable element and the garment to allow for selective adjustment of tension in the tensionable element. The opening and lock are disposed off and away from the front pelvic region so that the front of the garment, or selected areas thereof, may have a flush finish.
Leak Resistant Diaper Cover and Method(s) of Use Thereof
A leak resistant diaper cover and method of use thereof is described. Embodiments of the leak resistant diaper cover can be manufactured into a unitary piece of silicone that includes a tapered waist and tapered legs. The leak resistant diaper cover can be adapted to be worn over a diaper (or other undergarment) to help ensure that water does not enter into the diaper cover and that nothing exits the diaper cover.

Garment comprising an absorbent crotch panel system
A crotch panel system is disclosed. The crotch panel system comprises a bottom crotch panel, a unitary top layer crotch panel defining a shaped hole in the center, and an additional crotch panel layer attached to the bottom crotch panel. The shaped hole defined in the unitary top layer crotch panel defines a perimeter. An elastic border extends around the perimeter of the shaped hole, and the elastic border is configured to stretch to facilitate insertion of an object. The additional crotch panel layer is attached to the bottom crotch panel to provide stability of the object placed within the crotch panel system.
Garment
The present invention relates to a garment (1), and more particularly an underwear, sportswear or swimwear garment (1) for a female. The underwear, sportswear or swimwear garment comprises an open-sided structural frame (10) and a fabric covering (20) for the structural frame. The structural frame (10) includes an anterior contoured loop (15) and a posterior stem (12), relative to a wearer of the garment in normal use, wherein the anterior contoured loop (15) is adapted for surrounding the mons-pubis region, genitals and anus of a female wearer and has a perimeter that is contoured to conform to and engage with the anatomy of the female wearer. A portion of the perimeter of the anterior contoured loop (15) is adapted for tensioned engagement with the inner thigh muscles of a female wearer when worn, in a standing position or whilst walking. The posterior stem (12) is shaped so as to be engageable by the gluteus maximus muscles of the female wearer when worn. The anterior contoured loop (15) and the posterior stem (12) are formed in a sprung-biased arrangement relative to one another such that when the underwear, sportswear or swimwear garment (1) is worn on the female body, a tensile force is transferrable from the posterior stem to the anterior frame portion.
Flotation Swimsuit
The floating swimsuit device is a unisex swimsuit with an inbuilt floatation device. It is an objective of the device to make swimmers more comfortable and feel safer in the water. To accomplish this, the device includes removable floatation panels that may be positioned within pockets on the swimsuit. The floatation panels may be removed or kept in pockets of the swimsuit depending on the weight, buoyancy requirements, and comfort level of the user. The floatation panels may be positioned along both a front surface and a rear surface of the swimsuit, thereby providing sufficient buoyancy. Further, a plurality of fasteners enables the floatation panels to be secured well within the pockets, as well as enables the user to wear the swimsuit with ease and comfort. Furthermore, the floatation panels may be of different levels of thickness, which make the device suitable for people of different preferences and dimensions.
WAISTBAND FOR ARTICLE OF APPAREL
A waistband for an article of apparel is provided. The waistband may comprise at least one tunnel structure through which one or more cords may extend to allow tensioning of the waistband through pulling of the cord(s), while additionally providing comfort, stretchability, breathability, and adjustability for the wearer through integration of one or more elastic or elastically resilient portions into the waistband.
Support garment
Aspects herein provide for a support garment having a vibration damping structure that is positioned between the breast contacting surfaces of the support garment. The vibration damping structure has a shape and/or material characteristics that enable it to substantially fill the space defined by a medial aspect of the wearer's breasts and the wearer's sternum. This positioning and placement facilitate the damping structure's ability to absorb and dissipate impact forces generated at least through the medial-to-lateral movement of the wearer's breasts during, for example, athletic activities.

BODY SCULPTING GARMENT
A garment for shaping a form of its wearer includes a front panel and a back panel coupled to one another at first and second seams. The front panel comprises self-lining material in a pectoral portion and compression layer material in a torso portion of the front panel. The back panel includes a first arcuate portion of compression layer material along the first seam and a second arcuate portion of compression layer material along the second seam. Lining material extends from an upper portion of the back panel to a bottom portion of the back panel and is coupled to the two arcuate portions such that the two arcuate portions are separated by the lining material. The compression layer material has a higher elastic modulus than a respective elastic modulus of the lining material.
