METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMER MEMBER
To suppress peeling off of a polymer coating in a polymer member formed to have the polymer coating provided on a surface of a polymer shaped object, performed are: a curing step of causing a curable composition to be cured by energy rays to prepare the polymer shaped object; a coating step of forming the polymer coating on the polymer shaped object; and a post-curing step of irradiating the polymer shaped object with the energy rays after the coating step, wherein, in the curing step, the polymer shaped object in which a reactive functional group is left is prepared.
Water purification material for petrochemicals
Vapor phase polymerization can be used to synthesize a 3D porous network of polystyrene-containing, branched carbon nanofibers on polyurethane(s), optionally using natural light (NL) initiation. NL styrene polymerization in a confined reactor containing CNF-grafted PU can provide a stable porous network. The NL can vaporize the styrene by increasing the reactor temperature and generate styrene radicals. Without CNF, the polymerization on polyurethane (PU) provides a delicate, fragile surface. Radical styrene in vapor phase can interact with CNF to produce polystyrene branches by generating active sites on CNF, while reinforcing the 3D porous structure. After polymerization, the PU surface area increased from 9 to 184 m.sup.2/g and pore size decreased from 2567 to 10 Å. 3D porous networks of NL-assisted PS branched CNF supported PU can provide a hydrophobic, oleophilic surface with a water contact angle of approx 148±3°, rapidly gravity separating hexane and water without external force.
GOLF BALL
An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having oily stain washability or weed juice stain resistance that is adjustable depending on a temperature. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a golf ball body and a paint film composed of at least one layer and covering the golf ball body, wherein a molecular chain of a base resin constituting an outermost layer located at an outermost side of the paint film has a graft chain, and 80 mole % or more of repeating units constituting the graft chain includes any one of repeating units represented by formulae (1) to (4):
##STR00001##
[In the formulae (1) to (4), R.sup.1 to R.sup.5 each independently represent hydrogen, halogen or an organic group.]
