The disclosure relates to compositions including a constituent-A of a polylysine component, a XL-component, and a fibrous component of a fibrous element of vegetable fibers. The fibrous element is free of any fibers other than the vegetable fibers. The composition is free of any fibers other than the vegetable fibers of the fibrous component. The disclosure further relates to processes for obtaining an object from the compositions. The disclosure further relates to objects such as sheets, tapes, sticks, strips, films, cloths, containers, boards, panels, beams, frames, planks, engineered wood e.g. fibreboards obtained by said processes.

The present invention relates to the use of polymer gels in the preparation of polymer brushes. In particular, the present invention relates to polymer gels swelled in the polymerisation medium. The invention further relates to the use of polymer gels in the formation of polymer brushes on a surface. The present invention provides improved methods for forming polymer brushes on a surface, thus, enabling easy large-scale production of polymer brush-coated surfaces. In particular, the present invention enables application of the polymerisation medium on surfaces of all geometries.

The present disclosure relates to an ultraviolet-curable protective material composition comprising an oligomer having at least one backbone selected from hydrogenated polybutadiene and polyisobutylene, and having di-functional acrylate groups; an acrylate monomer, and a photoinitiator, wherein the composition has a Young's modulus of 100 MPa to 2,000 MPa at 25 C. and a tack force of less than 20 gf after UV curing.
