A garment for a person comprising; a first article having at least two openings, wherein each of the at least two openings are for legs to pass through exposing the feet of a person, a reinforcement member secured to the first article, distal to where the feet of the person pass through, a first attachment means secured to the reinforcement member, at least two second articles having an opening designed to substantially fit and conceal the foot of the person, and a second attachment means secured to an interior surface of the at least two second articles distal to the opening, wherein the second attachment means is designed to mate with the first attachment means, and are aligned in a predetermined pattern.

An improved adaptive garment has a shoulder seam closure of (1) a first panel containing one or more magnetic fasteners or a magnetic strip of a positive or negative polarity, and (2) a second panel containing one or more magnetic fasteners or a magnetic strip of opposite polarity. The magnetic elements of the first and second panels are attracted and attach to each other, such that the second panel overlaps the first panel and closes the shoulder seam. This improved adaptive garment permits those with limited dexterity or mobility, youngsters, or those with disabilities and/or other health conditions get dressed more easily and quickly, with or without the assistance of others. This shoulder seam closure further permits the adaptive garment not to use a back seam closure of magnetic fasteners, thereby eliminating their pressure against the wearer's back and the discomfort, pain or irritation they might cause, and permitting to contain a back vent or pleat.

The apparel item (100) comprises features to reduce distractions such as a hood (124) with an integrated eye mask (310) and foam inserts (314) integrated into the hood (124) and configured to be positioned over the wearer's ears when the hood (124) is worn. The apparel item (100) further comprises a strap system (400) that is configured to hold the wearer's head in a static position during upright sleeping.

A garment for providing comfort to a wearer in confined environment such as travelling through transport facility with confined seating arrangements. The sleep garment comprises a blanket portion, a sleeve portion and a padded neck portion. The sleeve configuration allows the wearer to fold their arms across their chest with the forearms angled upward and to secure in position with hook and loop o straps. The hook and loop straps are sewn at the back of the sleeve such way it is accessible to the palm of the wearer. Loop fabric on the exterior of the garment allows the wearer to position the arm securing strap anywhere on the product for optimum comfort while keeping the elbows located near the body.

A wearable article is provided. The wearable article may include a base portion, wherein the base portion may include a front portion, a back portion substantially opposite to the front portion, and an interior portion. The front portion may include at least one body section and the back portion may include at least one wedge section.

An upper body garment has a first access seam spanning a first sleeve of the garment on an underside from a cuff to an arm pit and spanning a body of the garment from the arm pit to a lower hem. The first access seam can be secured by magnets or other fasteners located intermittently along the sleeve and body which are easily opened for access to treatment areas. Furthermore, when the magnets are opened, the first access seam opens completely on one side of a patient body to peel away over IV needles and other connections for removal using a neck opening and a second sleeve.
