Additives for fuels and oils comprising Functionalised diblock copolmers

Concentrates containing specific functionalized diblock copolymers serve as effective additives for improving the cold flow behavior of fuels and oils, the copolymers being derived from a terminally-unsaturated intermediate polymer obtained via a metallocene process involving hydrogen.

Method for preparing polyolefin-polystyrene-based multiblock copolymer

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a polyolefin-polystyrene-based multiblock copolymer having a uniform structure and showing excellent physical properties through continuous type coordination polymerization and batch type anionic polymerization.

TRIBLOCK POLYMER HAVING A DIENE CENTRAL BLOCK RICH IN ETHYLENE AND TWO TERMINAL BLOCKS, RESPECTIVELY POLYSTYRENE AND POLYETHYLENE

Triblock polymers of formula A-B-C, in which the symbol A represents a polystyrene block, and the symbol B represents a statistical copolymer block with a glass transition temperature of less than-10 C., are provided. The statistical copolymer comprises units of a 1,3-diene and more than 50 mol % of ethylene units. The symbol C represents a polyethylene block with a melting temperature of greater than 90 C. The triblock polymers exhibit good elastic recovery.
