Nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition
A nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition containing a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (A) having a Mooney viscosity [ML.sub.1+4, 100° C.] of 50 to 200, a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (B) having a Mooney viscosity [ML.sub.1+4, 100° C.] of 5 to 45, and staple fibers (C) having an average fiber length of 0.1 to 12 mm is provided. According to the present invention, a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition which can give cross-linked rubber which is extremely high in tensile stress and is excellent in low heat buildup property and has good workability can be provided.
Side-chain-olefin-containing vinyl alcohol polymer and method of producing same
The present invention relates to a vinyl alcohol-based polymer having an olefin in side chain, comprising a vinyl alcohol unit and a structural unit represented by Formula (I), wherein X represents a divalent saturated hydrocarbon group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, optionally having a branched structure; Y represents a hydrogen atom or a saturated hydrocarbon group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, optionally having a branched structure; and Z represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. Thus, there is provided a vinyl alcohol-based polymer having an olefin in side chain exhibiting higher water solubility even after thermal treatment, higher storage stability, and higher reactivity to high energy beam, and a method for producing it. ##STR00001##
