A method of pleating a fabric, the method comprising pleating the fabric with a first pleating process to create a first set of pleats in the fabric along a first axis; pleating the fabric with a second pleating process to create a second set of pleats in the fabric along a second axis different to the first axis, wherein the second set of pleats are pleated over the first set of pleats, and wherein the first set of pleats is a set of in-plane pleats lying substantially in the plane of the fabric and the second set of pleats is a set of out-of-plane pleats which stand out of the plane of the fabric.

A locking device is provided for securing the zipper in a closed position when the wearer is received within the garment. The locking device has a retaining element for preventing movement of the zipper slider once it has reached its fully closed position, and a first closure element for enclosing the zipper and the retaining element. To this end, the present invention provides the baby clothing having the bottom opening/closing line and the side opening/closing line, the baby clothing including: a body part integrally formed to cover the upper body and lower body of an infant; a head protection part formed extending upward from the neck circumference of the body part to protect the head portion of the infant; arm accommodation parts provided on both sides of the body part to accommodate a pair of arms; leg accommodation parts provided on the bottoms of the body part to accommodate a pair of legs; the bottom opening/closing line which is provided on the bottom surface of the bottoms of the body part, integrally connected from the pants end on the one side to the pants end on the other side via the crotch portion, and opened and closed by an opening/closing means including a zipper or button; and a side opening/closing line which is formed extending from the bottom surface of the sleeve end on one side to the pants end on the one side via the armpit portion and the flank portion, and is opened and closed by the opening/closing means including the zipper or button.
