VENTILLATION INSERT FOR AN APPAREL ITEM
An apparel item having an insert configured to provide ventilation to the wearer is provided herein. The apparel item is formed by at least a front panel having a posterior edge, a back panel having an anterior edge, and an insert made for coupling the front panel and the back panel. An anterior edge of the insert is coupled to the posterior edge of the front panel while a posterior edge of the insert is attached to the back panel at a position posterior to the back panel's anterior edge.
SLEEVE CONSTRUCTION FOR AN ARTICLE OF APPAREL
An article of apparel is provided having sleeves with a first panel, a second panel and a third panel. The first panel is generally located on a medial portion of the sleeve, and the second panel and the third panel are generally located on a lateral portion of the sleeve. The sleeves may also comprise an elastically resilient panel positioned adjacent at least the second panel, such that the elastically resilient panel provides increased range of motion for a wearer.
VERTICAL LIFT HARNESS AND TURNOUT GEAR
A safety harness for vertically lifting of a user is provided. The safety harness includes an upper body harness and a lower body harness which may be positioned on liners within a coat and pants of the user, respectively. The upper body harness and lower body harness attach together to function as a Class III harness enabling lifting of a user in a vertical orientation by virtue of the harness geometry. The lower body harness alone serves as a Class II harness and the upper body harness alone serves as a drag line. The harness is particularly suited to be integrated with firefighting turnout gear for ready donning with the turnout gear.
REMOVABLE PAD ARRANGEMENT
A guard arrangement includes a sleeve with a pocket defining an adjustable opening that has a nominal width, and a pad element having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to be removably positioned inside the pocket, and the first portion has a width at a widest part of the first portion that is greater than the nominal width of the opening.
SECURING GARMENT FOR A SHOULDER-PAD SYSTEM
A shoulder-pad system includes various components, including an impact-plate assembly and one or more sub-layers. The shoulder-pad system may be substantially retained in an arrangement or configuration using one or more securing garments. An exemplary securing garment includes an upper-body garment that at least partially wraps over, and attaches to, the impact-plate assembly.
Methods and devices for preventing viral transmission
An apparatus includes multiple first reservoirs and multiple second reservoirs joined with a substrate. Selected ones of the multiple first reservoirs include a reducing agent, and first reservoir surfaces of selected ones of the multiple first reservoirs are proximate to a first substrate surface. Selected ones of the multiple second reservoirs include an oxidizing agent, and second reservoir surfaces of selected ones of the multiple second reservoirs are proximate to the first substrate surface.
Bodily Protection assembly
A bodily protection assembly for protecting a user from impact energy includes a pair of shoulder pads structured to be worn by the user. A top cage is coupled to the shoulder pads such that the top cage is positioned between the shoulder pads and the user's shoulders. Thus, the top cage may prevent impact energy from being transferred into the user's shoulders. A lower cage is coupled to the shoulder pads such that the lower cage is positioned between the shoulder pads and the user's upper torso. The lower cage surrounds the user's upper torso. Thus, the lower cage may prevent impact energy from being transferred into the user's upper torso.
Sports Training and Physiotherapy Garments
A posture and movement training garment 100 comprises at least one elastic element 1-22 arranged to be stretched upon movement of the wearer's trunk and/or at least one of the wearer's limbs away from a predetermined rest or neutral position, thereby to provide the wearer with gentle elastic recoil sufficient to provide the wearer with additional kinaesthetic and/or touch feedback resulting from the movement, substantially without inhibiting the movement. A complementary sports training or physiotherapy garment 300 comprises a fabric base and pockets 50-55 for the reception of weights, the garment further comprising strips of relatively inextensible material 67 forming a network interconnecting the base material within the pockets, in which the majority of the strips run generally longitudinally of the wearer's limbs and torso and form a branched network with bases mainly originating at the wearer's shoulders and/or hips; and wherein the network does not completely encircle the wearer's limbs and torso. The weights may comprise a body 220 formed from an elastomer, in which the body contains an embedded plurality of pieces 216 of a harder, denser material, each piece having a minimum dimension of at least 1.5 mm and in which the individual pieces are movable relative to one another, whereby the body retains its flexibility.
Compression Garments and Uses Thereof
This disclosure relates to the field of compression garments and uses thereof.
Protective garment usable with gas tank releasibly carried by shoulder straps and waist belt
A system is provided for a firefighter or other emergency worker and includes a protective coat and a self-contained breathing apparatus. The self-contained breathing apparatus includes a regulator connected by a high-pressure hose to a gas tank that is releasibly carried on the coat by shoulder straps and waist straps.
