COMPRESSION SHORTS
Compression shorts are provided with a sleeve having an opening at a proximal end of the sleeve that communicates with an opening in the crotch area of the shorts. The sleeve is attached to the crotch area of compression shorts by an elastic engagement of the shorts with the sleeve at a proximal end of the sleeve. A flap is joined to the sleeve. The girth of the sleeve and is expanded or contracted by locating and attaching an end of the flap against the sleeve. A distal end of the sleeve comprises a closure flap to permit covering or uncovering a distal opening in the sleeve, and to adjust the useful length of the sleeve.
Multi-threat protection composite
A multi-threat protection composite containing at least one textile layer having an upper and lower surface and a non-blocking pressure sensitive adhesive (NonB-PSA) composition on at least the upper surface of each layer. The NonB-PSA coating contains a pressure sensitive adhesive and a plurality of first inorganic particles, wherein the ratio by weight of the first inorganic particles to the pressure sensitive adhesive is greater than about 1, and wherein the NonB-PSA coating is in an amount of at least about 10 g/m.sup.2 on each surface the NonB-PSA coating is located.

Composite devices and methods for providing protection against traumatic tissue injury
Articles including protective gear for a variety of sports and activities provide protection from one or both of linear and angular forces that either directly or indirectly impact the gear when it is donned. The articles include at least two layers of material that provide multimodal energy dissipation to minimize the extent of transmission of impact forces to tissue.
METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A GARMENT PORTION
A method for assembling a garment portion including accessing a first garment portion, a second garment portion and a fixture, wherein the first garment portion is generally tubular and has two plies. The method further includes positioning the first garment portion on the fixture such that the fixture is positioned in the first garment portion, and wrapping the second garment portion about the first garment portion. The method further includes unrolling or unfolding at least part of the first garment portion over the second garment portion such that the second garment portion is positioned between the two plies of the first garment portion.
FABRIC, AND FIBER PRODUCT
A fabric that includes a loop of a yarn including a voltage generating filament. The fabric has a value of X of 1,000 or more, where X=(A+B)×C×D×E, and wherein: A is a loop angle of the loop of the yarn when the fabric is stretched by 10%, B is a connection angle of the loop of the yarn when the fabric is stretched by 10%, C is a number of the loops of the yarn per 1 cm.sup.2 of the fabric, D is a force (N) applied per basis weight (g/m.sup.2) of the fabric, and E is a surface potential (V) of the yarn.
Outerwear Garments for Use with Child Safety Seats
In some embodiments, a hood and outerwear garments with single attachment points for children wearing coats in car safety seats are disclosed. In some embodiments, the outerwear garment is comprised of a winter bonnet having an insulated lining and a single attachment point at the upper anterior portion of a coat. In some embodiments, the single anterior attachment prevents the hood from being inadvertently lodged behind a child—potentially limiting the safety seat's ability to secure the child. An object of some embodiments is to prevent a hood from interfering with car safety seat restraint systems.
Multipurpose Wearable Weight Device
A multipurpose wearable weight device that can be used as a single leg weight, double leg weight, a single sided vest, a double-sided vest, or as a free weight. The weight device can be used individually, with cable machines, with resistance bands, or in other similar ways. The weight device comprises a vest body with horizontal straps for securing the vest body and pockets for holding flexible weighted tubes. Further, a plurality of shoulder straps may be used to secure the weight device around the user. Additionally, a handle grip allows the user to lift the weight device of the present invention with their hand as a free weight. Further, the weight device may be rolled into a calf sleeve allowing the user to secure the weight device around their leg.
Article of apparel
An article of apparel is formed that is effective to regulate the temperature of the wearer. In an embodiment, a thermal regulation composition is applied to a surface of a textile substrate at a first temperature and a first pressure to form a thermal regulation membrane disposed on the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate with the thermal regulation membrane is compressed at a second pressure and a second temperature to position a portion of the thermal regulation membrane below the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate is incorporated into an article of apparel. The thermal regulation composition can include one or more system reactive components provided within a binder, where a system reactive components can include a cooling agent, a latent heat agent and/or a heat dissipation agent.
Garment
The undergarment may include a multi-panel front construction in order to minimize the prominence of breast buds, nipples, and even mature breast tissue without sports bra-like compression. The garments are uniquely designed to maximize comfort with their super-soft external material and to maximize self-esteem with their unique inner front panel. The interior front panel is constructed from a different material than the external layers.
