Non-chemical, mosquito bite-resistant garments

An insect-proof, form-fitting undergarment is provided having top and bottom parts formed of selected breathable materials and having omnidirectional stretch properties, and which top and bottom parts may be securely joined at the waist to prevent insect entry. A superfine knitted fabric is utilized to prevent insect bites.

Garments including size adjustment systems

A garment includes a first garment portion including a pocket, and the pocket includes an opening. A second garment portion is movable relative to the first garment portion. An adjustment system is at least partially disposed within the pocket and couples the second garment portion and the first garment portion. The adjustment system is manipulable by the wearer to move the second garment portion at least partially into the pocket via the opening to thereby adjust a fit of the garment on the wearer.

An exercise garment includes a vest, and a belt joined to the vest with spaced apart elastic straps. The vest has a right front portion, a left front portion, a back portion, and right and left shoulder portions. Non-stretch straps stitched to the right front portion converging to a first fastener and non-stretch straps stitched to the left front portion converge to a second fastener. The belt has an elongated body; a fastener that adjustably fastens the first end and the second end of the body in an overlapping configuration, non-stretch handle straps distributed along the body; and spaced apart elastic straps. The elastic straps each have a first end stitched to the belt and a fastener at the second end that mated to one of the non-stretch strap fasteners. The exercise garment solves back pain by strengthening a person’s core muscles.

Wearable airfoil
11160318 · 2021-11-02 ·

A wearable airfoil garment for reducing the cyclist aerodynamic drag. A garment material is elastically tethered between two or more anchor locations on the garment. The anchor locations are positioned and arranged to form transient, self-adaptive, body-conforming airfoil surfaces on the garment. The self-adjustment of the airfoil surfaces preserves the cyclist's comfort as well as the aerodynamic efficiency. The airfoil surfaces change in a body-conforming manner in response to the movements of a person wearing the garment. The aerodynamic performance of the garment is adjustable to the preference of the wearer. Garment airfoils constructed with seams suitably placed to trigger transition of boundary layers.

Heat Resistant Pocket Insert

The heat resistant pocket insert allows users, such as cosmetologists, to place hot tools in pockets safely without getting burned so they may free both hands for parting or applying product. The heat resistant pocket insert is removable so it may be cleaned and replaced in between uses to avoid cross contamination. The heat resistant pocket insert can save time during hairstyling which ultimately gives cosmetologists an opportunity to make more money and provides them a more ergonomic option to complete services.

LOWER BODY GARMENT PROVIDING IMPROVED COMFORT
20230329355 · 2023-10-19 ·

A durable lower body garment (1) formed of a plurality of fabric panels (17, 19, 21, 23, 25) and having an inner surface for facing towards the wearer and an outer surface for facing away from the wearer, the plurality of fabric panels defining a waist opening and a pair of leg openings (11, 13). The garment comprises a front fabric panel (17) and at least one further fabric panel, the front fabric panel (17) and the at least one further fabric panel being joined along their lateral edges to define the waist opening including a waist edge (31), each of the front fabric panel (17) and the at least one further fabric panel extending from the waist edge (31) to at least a crotch region of the garment, and wherein each of the front fabric panel (17) and the at least one further fabric panel is formed of an elastically stretchable fabric. The front fabric panel (17) defines from 10% to 60% of a length of the waist edge (31) and the at least one further fabric panel defines from 40% to 90% of the length of the waist edge (31), as measured when the garment is in its unworn state. The front fabric panel (17) is folded along the waist edge (31) to define a front waist hem (33) at the inner surface of the garment and the at least one further fabric panel is folded along the waist edge (31) to define a further waist hem (35) at the inner surface of the garment, the front waist hem (33) and the further waist hem (35) each having a depth of at least 15 mm. The front waist hem (33) and the further waist hem (35) are ungathered when the garment is in the unworn state. An elongation under a load of 3.6 kg exhibited by the front waist hem (33), in a direction about the waist opening, is at least 10% greater than an elongation under a load of 3.6 kg exhibited by the further waist hem (35), in a direction about the waist opening.

WATER-REPELLENT ORGANIC FINE PARTICLES HAVING SLIP PREVENTION EFFECT

Organic fine particles and a slip-resistance agent composition which are capable of providing excellent slip-resistance to a base material. The organic fine particles contain a polymer having a repeating unit formed of: (I) a hydrophobic monomer that has a single ethylenically unsaturated double bond and at least one branched or cyclic hydrocarbon group having 3-40 carbon atoms; and, if necessary, (II) a cross-linking monomer having at least two ethylenically unsaturated double bonds. The slip-resistance agent composition contains (A) the organic fine particles and (B) an aqueous medium.
