Engineered surface for increased drag on article
An article having a panel and a trim piece. The panel may have at least a first panel edge, an outer surface, and a plurality of integrally-formed flaps that extend from the outer surface. The trim piece may be affixed to the panel proximate the first panel edge and may secure an end portion of at least one of the plurality of integrally-formed flaps between the trim piece and the outer surface of the panel. A plurality of panels may form, or be secured to, a garment in different orientations. Each of the plurality of panels may be separated by one or more trim pieces.

A TEXTILE ELEMENT SUCH AS A CLOTHING
The invention relates to a textile element, such as a clothing, aimed at covering a part of a body, such as a human body, with a particular application to a clothing for generating a physical effect, such as heat or cold, to the part of the body.
The textile element 1 forms an envelop 1 aimed at covering at least partially a part of a body, said textile element comprising a textile support and body part detection means 2 located on or in said textile support, said body part detection means 2 being configured to detect the presence and/or absence of said part of a body inside the envelop 1 and to generate a detection signal when presence and/or absence of said part of a body inside the envelop 1 is detected.
Trim piece for an apparel item
A trim piece is provided herein comprising a first zone adapted to be folded over an edge of an apparel item, a second zone, and a third zone interposed between the first and second zones. The trim piece is positioned on the apparel item such that a majority of the trim piece is positioned on an outer-facing surface of the apparel item.
Reception apparatus and method, and transmission apparatus and method for obtaining desired communication quality
The present disclosure relates to a reception apparatus and method, a transmission apparatus and method, and a program, capable of obtaining desired communication quality. Under the control of a central control unit, a tactile signal generation unit generates a tactile signal of a necessary number. Under the control of the central control unit, a header generation unit generates header information including the presence or absence of the tactile signal (that is, information indicating whether or not the tactile signal is to be used for each of vibration units as information associated with the vibration unit that uses the tactile signal), the delay amount, and the magnitude. A signal coupling unit adds header information to each of the tactile signals from the tactile signal generation unit, and performs time-division multiplexing on each of the tactile signals to which the header information has been added. The present disclosure can be applied to a tactile presentation system that vibrates a wearable reception apparatus including the vibration unit, for example.

PATIENT GARMENT
A patient garment for post-surgical and other medical-related procedures is provided. The garment can include a main body with a front portion, rear portion, upper collar end, lower waist end and arm openings that are collectively configured to fit around a patient's upper body portion. The front portion can include first and second side sections, each having a longitudinal edge that form a separable front seam for opening and closing the front portion of the garment. The garment can include as many as twelve or more pockets located on the interior and exterior surfaces of the garment. The pockets can be located intermediately along the height of the front portion of the garment. At least one of the pockets located along the collar end of the garment is configured for receiving a drainage reservoir connected to a patient's cranial or neck drainage site. At least one surface of the garment, such as the interior of the garment, is fabricated from a material that has been chemically treated to reduce surface friction and irritation against the skin of a wearer. The chemical treatment of the fabric may comprise of dimethicone.
Clothing having one or more printed areas disguising a shape or a size of a biological feature
A custom clothing system operable on a computing device of a user. The custom clothing system can utilize input from the user and images of the user to generate an avatar which accurately depicts the anthropometry measurements of the user. The custom clothing system can modify clothing to include a non-repeating print which disguises a biological feature of the user. The custom clothing system can track the movements and location of the user by reading a machine-readable non-repeating print coupled to an article of clothing worn by the user. The custom clothing system can modify an article of clothing to include one or more support members configured to support a user's injury.
Body Pad for Support Apparatus
A body pad apparatus with high surface friction on the inward-facing and outward-facing surfaces, to prevent slipping or repositioning of a body harnesses or personal flotation device, made of a material of a desired thickness that that conforms to stretch and pressure, and that has low profile attachments to secure the pad apparatus on, around, or to the user's body or to the harness or personal flotation device.
Enhanced exercise vest
An enhanced exercise vest for improving squatting exercise performance includes an upper portion; a bottom portion, the bottom portion including two front sections that wraps around a portion of the torso of the user and a back section; two shoulder straps; and two clasps or brackets. The two shoulder straps connect to a back surface of the main portion, the two shoulder straps to wrap around shoulders of a user, cross, and pass through a loop attached to the back section of the bottom portion. The two shoulder straps attach to each other across a front side of the bottom portion. Two clasps or brackets are attached to the two front sections of the bottom portion.
