DEVICE FOR PROTECTING PANTS AND OTHER GARMENTS FROM EXPOSURE TO RAIN AND OTHER CONDENSATION
A device for protecting a portion of a person's pant leg and shoe from exposure to rain is disclosed. The device includes a waterproof sheath for encasing a portion of the pant leg, the water-resistant sheath having an upper edge opposite a lower edge, and a front panel opposite a back panel, or alternatively of unibody construction encasing the entire leg. The upper edge of the sheath includes a lip for compressing against the pant leg. A stirrup attached to the lower edge of the sheath is included, the stirrup passing underneath a person's shoe or foot to secure the lower edge of the sheath to a lower portion of the pant leg. In a rainy environment, the device covers a person's lower pant leg to prevent the pant leg and/or the person's shoe from exposure to rain and other condensation.
LIGHTED GAITERS
There is disclosed apparel for providing protection and illumination. In an embodiment, a gaiter has a top portion and a bottom portion with a layer of material extending therebetween. The layer of material provides a protective covering to a lower limb of the user. At least one securement mechanism provides an adjustable attachment of the gaiter to the user. The selective mechanism allows attachment of the gaiter with a variety of footwear. A light housing is integrally disposed on an outward portion of the layer of material of the gaiter. The light housing provides illumination adjacent to the foot of a user. The combination of the gaiter and the light housing together provide a body-worn lighting device without attaching the light housing directly to any of the user, the footwear worn by the user, and clothing worn by the user. LIGHTED GAITERS
There is disclosed apparel for providing protection and illumination. In an embodiment, a gaiter has a top portion and a bottom portion with a layer of material extending therebetween. The layer of material provides a protective covering to a lower limb of the user. At least one securement mechanism provides an adjustable attachment of the gaiter to the user. The selective mechanism allows attachment of the gaiter with a variety of footwear. A light housing is integrally disposed on an outward portion of the layer of material of the gaiter. The light housing provides illumination adjacent to the foot of a user. The combination of the gaiter and the light housing together provide a body-worn lighting device without attaching the light housing directly to any of the user, the footwear worn by the user, and clothing worn by the user. PROTECTIVE FOOT, LEG, AND CLOTHING GUARD
The protective foot, leg, and clothing guard of the present disclosure can most generally be categorized as a protective device configured for wearing on the feet and lower legs of the wearer below the knees by encircling the leg and ankle area during wearing. The device is generally comprised of a fabric material with openings to allow the device to be pulled on by a user over their footwear and clothing to protect these areas. Accordingly, the device includes portions that can be generally referred to as an upper portion and lower portion. The upper portion generally representing the portion of the device that surrounds the shin and calf area while it is worn and the lower portion encircling the footwear of the wearer of the device, wherein this lower portion anchors the device to the footwear and alternately provides traction to a surface during use.
ACCESSORY WEARABLE AROUND A BOOT SHAFT
An accessory that is wearable around a boot or other high-top shoe includes a generally flat strap having a first side, a second side, a first end and a second end. A patch of hook material may be secured to the first side of the strap adjacent to the first end and a patch of loop material may be secured to the second side of the strap adjacent to the second end. The strap has a length sufficient to wrap around the shaft of a boot and reduce an effective circumference of the boot shaft with the patch of hook material in face-to-face engagement with the patch of loop material.
LEG PROTECTION LINER
A leg protection liner for a pair of pants, the leg protection liner including at least one elongated body comprising at least one type of fabric to prevent an inner surface of a boot from contacting at least a portion of a leg of a user, and a liner fastener disposed on a first end of the at least one elongated body to connect the at least one elongated body to at least a portion of the pair of pants, such that the at least one elongated body is suspended from the liner fastener.
LEG PROTECTION LINER
A leg protection liner for a pair of pants, the leg protection liner including at least one elongated body comprising at least one type of fabric to prevent an inner surface of a boot from contacting at least a portion of a leg of a user, and a liner fastener disposed on a first end of the at least one elongated body to connect the at least one elongated body to at least a portion of the pair of pants, such that the at least one elongated body is suspended from the liner fastener.
FOOTWEAR POUCH ASSEMBLIES
A protective boot pouch assembly that may be installed onto a pair of boots or any suitable footwear, where the pouch is installed along the length of the shaft and secured at the bottom, to protect the footwear against insect infestations (such as by preventing insects from entering the footwear) and weather elements during storage.
FOOTWEAR POUCH ASSEMBLIES
A protective boot pouch assembly that may be installed onto a pair of boots or any suitable footwear, where the pouch is installed along the length of the shaft and secured at the bottom, to protect the footwear against insect infestations (such as by preventing insects from entering the footwear) and weather elements during storage.
Item of clothing having a device for protection against pests, in particular ticks
The invention provides an item of clothing in the form of trousers (1) for use outdoors and/or in hunting, having two trouser legs (2, 3) and a device for protecting against pests. To provide effective protection against pests, the device an internal insert (4), preventing the passage of pests, in particular ticks, is provided in at least one trouser leg (2,3), the lower end (5) of which insert reaches as far as the foot area (6) of the user and the upper end (8) of which insert reaches as far as the foot area (6) of the user and the upper end (8) of which is permanently connected or can be detachably connected to the trouser leg (2,3) on the inside, wherein the connection at the upper end (8) is closed circumferentially to prevent passage of the pest through connection (9).
