Resins for improved flow in injection molding, molded articles made from the same, and methods of using the same. A molded article formed from a polymer feed includes nylon-6,6. The molded article also includes a thin elongated profile including a thickness of up to 1.5 mm and a flow length of at least 25 cm. An absolute value of ARV of the molded article as compared to the polymer feed is from 0 to 5, the RV determined according to ASTM D789.
ALKOXYLATION OF LIGNINS
Disclosed is a method comprising: a) dispersing lignin into an alcohol-containing compound having a boiling point in the range of 120 C. to 300 C. to form a lignin dispersion; and b) contacting the lignin dispersion with an alkylene carbonate, optionally in the presence of a basic compound, at a temperature in the range of from 120 C. to 200 C. and a period of time in the range of from 0.25 hours to 24 hours to form an alkoxylated lignin dispersion.

According to the present invention, provided is a polymerizable composition for an optical material including: at least one amine compound (A) selected from a compound (a1) represented by Formula (1) and a compound (a2) represented by Formula (2); an iso(thio)cyanate compound (B) which contains two or more iso(thio) cyanate groups; and a polythiol compound (C) which contains a dithiol compound (c1) containing two mercapto groups and a polythiol compound (c2) containing three or more mercapto groups.

RESIN COMPOSITIONS AND RESIN INFUSION PROCESS
Curable epoxy resin compositions suitable for liquid resin infusion processes. In one embodiment, the resin composition contains (a) at least two polyepoxides, one of which is triglycidyl ether of tris(hydroxyphenyl)methane, (b) an aromatic amine curing agent, and (c) core-shell rubber particles. In another embodiment, the resin composition (a) at least two polyepoxides, one of which is diglycidyl ether of bis(hydroxyphenyl)fluorene, (b) an aromatic amine curing agent, and (c) core-shell rubber particles.
A POLYURETHANE FOAM AND A POLYURETHANE COMPOSITE COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to an isocyanate reactive component comprising a specific polyol mixture useful for the preparation of homogenous reactive polyurethane compositions. The invention further relates to a reactive polyurethane composition comprising such isocyanate reactive component and an isocyanate component. It also relates to a homogeneous polyurethane foam having good mold release property and surface quality prepared from such reactive polyurethane compositions. In a further aspect, it relates to a polyurethane composite comprising such homogenous polyurethane foam and having good and flat surface appearance after processing.
