Powdered polyurethane urea resin composition for slush molding and manufacturing process therefor

Provided are: a powdered material for slush molding; and a manufacturing process therefor. The powdered material is less odorous, exhibits excellent powder fluidity, and does not suffer from troubles resulting from the sliding-down or agglomeration of a pigment even when the resin particles have been pigmented on the surfaces thereof. Thus, the powdered material ensures high productivity. The powdered material is a powdered polyurethane urea resin composition which comprises (D) a polyurethane urea resin that has a total content of bimolecular condensate of acetone, bimolecular condensate of methyl ethyl ketone, and bimolecular condensate of methyl isobutyl ketone of 1,000 ppm or less and (N) an additive, wherein the polyurethane urea resin (D) takes the form of thermoplastic polyurethane urea resin particles (P) that have a volume-mean particle diameter of 20 to 500 m and that have protrusions and recesses on the surfaces. The powdered polyurethane urea resin composition is manufactured by a manufacturing process which includes a step of mixing (A) an isocyanato-terminated urethane prepolymer with (B) an alicyclic diamine and/or an aliphatic diamine in an aqueous medium by stirring to form the resin particles (P).

Provided is a vinyl chloride resin composition that can provide a molded product having superior flexibility at low temperatures. The vinyl chloride resin composition includes (a) a vinyl chloride resin and (b) a dodecanedioic acid diester. Moreover, (a) the vinyl chloride resin includes (x) a base vinyl chloride resin in an amount of from 70 mass % to 100 mass % and (y) vinyl chloride resin fine particles in an amount of from 0 mass % to 30 mass %.

Polymeric material and use thereof

A polyaryletherketone PAEK polymeric material and use thereof is disclosed, the polymeric material comprising a homopolymer and/or a copolymer, suitable for use in an additive manufacturing process to make an object. The PAEK polymeric material has a shear viscosity, SV, of at least 145 Pa.Math.s and less than 350 Pa.Math.s, measured using capillary rheometry operating at 400 C. at a shear rate of 1000 s.sup.1 using a circular cross-section tungsten carbide die, 0.5 mm (capillary diameter)8 mm (capillary length). The PAEK polymeric material has an isothermal crystallinity half life, T.sub.1/2, of greater than 12 minutes at a temperature of 280 C., measured by Differential Scanning Calorimetry, DSC.

Polyketone powder for laser sintering

In one instance a semicrystalline polyketone powder useful for additive manufacturing is comprised of a bimodal melt peak determined by an initial differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) scan at 20 C./min and a D.sub.90 particle size of at most 300 micrometers and average particle size of 1 micrometer to 150 micrometers equivalent spherical diameter. In another instance, A composition is comprised of a semicrystalline polyketone powder having a melt peak and a recrystallization peak, wherein the melt peak and recrystallization peak fail to overlap.
