The two-component adhesive composition comprises an isocyanate component, an isocyanate-reactive component and an epoxy-aromatic diisocyanate adduct, and can achieve superior adhesion strength between the adhesive and a substrate like metal alloy substrate. A laminated article prepared with said composition, a method for preparing the article and the use of the epoxy-aromatic diisocyanate adduct as adhesion promoter in a two-component polyurethane adhesive composition are also provided.

The polymer also includes one or more terminal functional groups, such as an amino group, a glycidyl group, a carboxylic acid group, a (meth)acrylate group, a silane group, an isocyanate group, an acetoacetate group, a phenolic group, and a hydroxyl group. Functional groups, such as carboxylic acids, may also be grafted along the hydrophobic polymer chain. The polymer may be incorporated in curable compositions that optionally include one or more polymer resins having similar functional groups. Methods for preparing the curable polymer compositions are also provided. The curable or cured form of the polymer composition may be used in various products, such as a sealant, a coating, a caulk, an electric potting compound, a membrane, a sponge, a foam, an adhesive, or a propellant binder.

An adhesive composition for use in flooring applications that includes a moisture curable polymer system; a calcium carbonate filler system having a first spheroidal particle of calcium carbonate having an equivalent spherical mean diameter of 70 nanometer (nm) to 15 micrometer (μm) and a second spheroidal particle of calcium carbonate having an equivalent spherical mean diameter of greater than 15 μm to 200 μm; a seed oil based fatty acid ester; and a silane based adhesion promoter. The adhesive composition provides low viscosity along with high shear resistance, which helps to retain the troweled ridges to enable maximum coverage.

READILY ADHESIVE POLYESTER FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

This invention provides a readily adhesive polyester film that has fewer flaws and in which no appearance defects occur due to tight winding during the storage of rolled products, and a method for efficiently producing the readily adhesive polyester film. More specifically, this invention provides a readily adhesive polyester film comprising a polyester film as a base film and a readily adhesive layer on at least one side of the base film, wherein the base film contains particles with an average particle diameter of 0.1-2 μm or more in an amount of 1 mass % or less based on the mass of the base film, and the readily adhesive layer is a cured product of a composition comprising a copolymerized polyester resin (A), a blocked isocyanate group-containing urethane resin (B), and a silicone surfactant (C). This invention also provides a method for producing a readily adhesive polyester film.

The waterborne resin crosslinking agent of the present invention comprises a predetermined polycarbodiimide compound (A) having an oxyalkylene group, a predetermined polycarbodiimide compound (B), and a surfactant (C), each polycarbodiimide compound has a structure in which an isocyanate group is capped with a predetermined end-capping compound at each of both terminals, a total content of the oxyalkylene group in (A) is 15% by mass or more, a total content of the oxyalkylene group in (A) and (B) based on a total amount of (A) and (B) is 10% by mass or less, and a content of (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by mass based on a total content of (A) and (B) of 100 parts by mass.
