A polyurethane composition, which contains at least one isocyanate-group-containing polymer, obtained from the reaction of at least one polyol with at least one diisocyanate, and at least one oxazolidine of the formula (I). The polyurethane composition allows one-component moisture-curing adhesives, sealants or coatings that have good storage stability, long open times and cure quickly to give a surprisingly non-tacky material having pronounced high-resilient properties.
ANAEROBICALLY CURABLE COMPOSITIONS
An anaerobically curable composition comprising a hydroxy-functionalized mono(meth)acrylate compound, an aromatic mono(meth)acrylate compound which is not the same as the hydroxy-functionalized mono(meth)acrylate compound, a (meth)acrylate functionalised polyurethane resin, and an anaerobic cure inducing component.
UV AND/OR HEAT CURABLE SILICONE BASED MATERIALS AND FORMULATIONS
The present disclosure is directed to a process for the preparation of curable, (meth)acrylate functionalized polysiloxanes. In addition, the present disclosure is directed to a curable, (meth)acrylate-functionalized polysiloxane obtained thereby and curable compositions comprising these curable, (meth)acrylate-functionalized polysiloxanes.
Accelerate cure of moisture curable polyurethane adhesive compositions useful for bonding glass
The adhesive system of the invention is especially useful in bonding replacement windows into vehicles. They allow for sufficient working time while still realizing a fast drive away time. The adhesive system is comprised of a moisture curable adhesive and a cure accelerator that may be applied using a simple single caulk gun and may be applied at ambient temperatures such as −10° C. and about 45° C. The cure accelerator is comprised of a polyol having a backbone that has at least one amine in the backbone. The moisture curable adhesive typically is comprised of an isocyanate terminated prepolymer.
POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION RAW MATERIAL LIQUID AGENT, POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION, AND MIXING SYSTEM
A polyurethane composition raw material liquid agent comprises a polyol or an isocyanate, and a filler. The polyurethane composition raw material liquid agent has a viscosity at 25° C. and a rotation speed of 60 rpm of 950 mPa.Math.s or less, and is filled in at least one cartridge-like container of a caulking gun that includes two cartridge-like containers and is capable of mixing two components.
Polycarbonate diol and polyurethane using same
The present invention relates to a polycarbonate diol comprising a structural unit derived from a compound represented by the following formula (A) and a structural unit derived from a compound represented by the following formula (B), wherein the hydroxyl value is from 20 to 450 mg-KOH/g:
HO—R.sup.1—OH (A)
HO—R.sup.2—OH (B) the glass transition temperature of said polycarbonate diol as measured by a differential operating calorimeter is −30° C. or less and the average carbon number of a dihydroxy compound obtained by hydrolyzing said polycarbonate diol is from 3 to 5.5.
Allophanate carbamate azido-alkyne click compositions
An alternative polyurethane composition is provided comprising a reaction product of an azidated polyol and a poly(alkynyl carbamate) allophanate prepolymer, wherein the poly(alkynyl carbamate) allophanate prepolymer comprises a reaction product of a first alkynol and a poly(alkynyl carbamate) prepolymer, in the presence of a metallo-organic compound of the formula: M(acac).sub.n, wherein, M=a metal, acac=an acetylacetonate residue, and n=2 or 3, wherein the poly(alkynyl carbamate) prepolymer comprises a reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a stoichiometric equivalent of a second alkynol, and wherein the polyisocyanate comprises isocyanate groups and uretdione groups. The inventive alternative polyurethane compositions may be used to provide solventborne or waterborne coatings, adhesives, sealants, films, elastomers, castings, foams, and composites.
Sealant having fireworthy properties for use with aircraft parts
Fireworthy sealants may have a variety of compositions and be made by a variety of techniques. In certain implementations, a fireworthy sealant may include a body comprised of a cured, tacky, soft, deformable non-adhesive gel. The gel body may have an upper surface, a lower surface, and a perimeter, wherein the upper and lower surfaces of the gel body, in an uncompressed state, define a body thickness. The sealant may, in an uncompressed state, be dimensioned to fit in a first opening between a wall and an aircraft component surface and deformable when under compression to fit in a second opening, smaller than the first opening. The sealant may be flame retardant and produce low smoke density and low smoke toxicity.
