Semi-wearable Device for Interpretation of Digital Content for the Visually Impaired
A portable device for translation of digital content on a display into braille includes: a conductive material located adjacent an end of the portable device for contacting a display of a touchscreen device; a microcontroller located on a body of the portable device; a communications module in electronic communication with the microcontroller; and a first braille cell comprising a plurality of movable individual braille elements, the individual braille elements collectively capable of forming braille alphabet letters. The microcontroller receives a command via the communications module to create a braille character on the first braille cell in response to the conductive material contacting the display of the touchscreen device, the braille character corresponding to a character displayed on the display of the touchscreen device at the location the conductive material contacts the display.
Reticulated digit shield for protective sports glove
A protective digit shield for a protective sports glove, the shield having a hard chassis portion and an energy absorbing portion forming a hinge. The chassis portion provides an arcuate channel in which the thumb/digit is received. The chassis is segmented along the longitudinal axis to provide a proximal portion and a distal portion corresponding generally with the proximal and distal phalanx bones of the thumb/digit. A resilient, energy absorbing element along the channel provides separation between the chassis and forms a living hinge such that the chassis can rotate. The energy absorbing element may also include a damping element along opposing edges at the segmented joint to absorb and dissipate forces and prevent hyperextension. In an alternate embodiment, the energy absorbing element is replaced with a connection cable for connecting the portions of the chassis.
SMART GLOVE
A smart glove includes a glove for housing and triggering electronic modules having a sensor; a triggering member for triggering the electronic modules; and a slide provided on the glove for partially or completely enclosing the electronic modules. The slide is made of a flexible material and comprises a base; two side walls extending from two side portions of the base; two channels extending starting from a first end of the base towards a second end of the base; a protrusion connected to the base from a connection end of the protrusion and extending between a channel; a lock end located at an end of the protrusion not connected to the base and extending from the protrusion perpendicularly or in an angled manner; a slot provided on an opposite end of the base without the lock end, comprising a hollow and extending from the base towards a roof.
Sport Glove
A sport glove is such that a notched portion that also serves as hand insertion portion is provided at a lower portion of the back portion in such fashion as to cover neither the radiocarpal joint nor the midcarpal joint of the wearer, a tip end portion of a tightenable strap being removably retained at the back portion, and a base end of the tightenable strap being secured to a side end of the pinky finger sheath portion at the palm portion, in such fashion that neither the radiocarpal joint nor the midcarpal joint is covered by the tightenable strap. Because neither the radiocarpal joint nor the midcarpal joint—these carrying out flexion and extension and lateral bending of the hand of the wearer—is covered, there is no occurrence of sensation of pressure from the back of the glove to these joints.
SMART SAFETY APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
The disclosed device, system, and method may comprise one or more devices for digital personal protective equipment. These devices may be network enabled wearables. A plurality of sensors, data transmission mechanisms, self-illuminating LEDs, and communication mechanisms may be embedded in a suspension or harness in various embodiments. A number of sensors may likewise be provided in a glove or earbud (ear plug). The device may measure various aspects of a wearer's movement and transmit that data over a data connection (such as a wifi or mobile connection) to a server. The server may house project and human resources data, worker and condition information, and materials and supplies data, according to various examples of embodiments. The system may further comprise one or more applications which may interpret the data provided.
Protective Detachable Hand Covering
A protective detachable hand covering, particularly useful for pumping fuel into a fuel tank, and being store on a surface of a vehicle. The hand covering has a flexible base and a bridging member to secure the hand covering to an individual's hand. The flexible base has a bottom adhering surface, which may be magnetized or use a hook and loop fastening mechanism. A bridging member is secured to the top surface so a user can slide his or her hand within the hand cover and detach it from the surface by pulling away from the surface. The flexible base has a palmar region, an elongated thumb region, and an elongated index finger region, particularly useful for gripping a fuel pump handle, and allow a user to pump fuel without directly contacting the fuel pump handle. A method of pumping fuel using a protective detachable hand covering.
Ambidextrous Glove with Sensitivity-Enhancing Digit Tip Inserts
An ambidextrous glove for facilitating accurate tactility and dexterity on the distal finger pad tips. The glove has finger tip inserts facilitating tactile sensitivity. The inserts are located between the finger tips and first joint on both sides of at least the thumb, index finger, and middle finger. Optionally, the glove is turned inside out. Holes are cut in both sides of the finger tip. The inserts are adhered to the finger tip to cover the holes. If the glove was turned inside out, it is turned outside out.
GLOVE THAT CONFORMS TO DIFFERENT FINGER SIZES
A glove is provided with stretchable zones or sections on the finger portions of the glove to allow adjustable form fitted receipt of a wearer's fingers, while conforming to varying finger lengths of different wearers so that the glove finger portions do not extend beyond the tips of the wearer's fingers.

Protective Glove
A protective glove suitable for use in hazardous environments is provided. The glove may include multiple layers, each providing different aspects of protection to the wearer's hands. Multiple layers may include layers that improve grip, protect against cuts and impact, provide breathability, and/or provide waterproof and/or water resistant protection. Additional safety features may include reflective striping and impact disbursement pads and ridges. Further, the glove may be constructed to enhance user dexterity.
