Provided are a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) film and a laminate comprising the same. The LCP film has a first surface and a second surface opposite each other, and a Kurtosis (Rku) of the first surface ranges from 3.0 to 60.0. With the Rku, the LCP film is able to improve the peel strength with a metal foil and ensure that a laminate comprising the same maintains the merit of low insertion loss.

A non-linear side chain liquid crystal polyorganosiloxane differs from previous side chain liquid crystal polyorganosiloxanes. A method for preparing the non-linear side chain liquid crystal polyorganosiloxane involves hydrosilylation reaction of a SiH rich intermediate with an aliphatically unsaturated mesogenic compound. A liquid crystal composition containing the non-linear side chain liquid crystal polyorganosiloxane is useful in dynamic scattering mode electro-optic device for various applications.

The invention relates to a method for preparing a polyester polymer material, which comprises preparing a reaction medium comprising a mixture of at least one monomer chosen from -hydroxylated fatty acids and -hydroxylated fatty acid esters of an alcohol comprising an aliphatic chain comprising from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and at least one phenolic compound, the total content of phenolic compound(s) being within a range of values from 0.3 to 42 mg equivalent of gallic acid per gram of the mixture. The method then comprises heating this reaction medium in order to carry out the polymerisation of the monomer and the phenolic compound and the cross-linking of the polymer thus formed.

The present invention relates to a high molecular weight polymer having an aldaric acid as a constitutional unit, and a method for producing the same, and more specifically, relates to a thermoplastic polymer which comprises at least one repeating unit derived from an aldaric acid, and has a weight average molecular weight of 3,800 or more.

A polymer composition is disclosed that comprises a polymer matrix containing at least one thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer and at least one hollow inorganic filler having a dielectric constant of about 3.0 or less at a frequency of 100 MHz wherein the weight ratio of the at least one thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer to the at least one hollow inorganic filler is from about 0.1 to about 10 and wherein the polymer composition exhibits a dielectric constant of about 4 or less and a dissipation factor of about 0.02 or less, as determined at a frequency of 10 GHz.

A polymer composition comprising a dielectric material distributed within a polymer matrix is provided. The film comprises a polymer composition that includes a liquid crystalline polymer and a hydrophobic material. The polymer composition exhibits a dielectric constant of about 5 or less and dissipation factor of about 0.05 or less at a frequency of 10 GHz.
