Sweat diverter

Described herein are sweat-diverting devices which can be adhered to a wearer by an adhesive. The sweat-diverting devices described here may be adhered over a portion of the face without circumscribing the head. Such sweat-diverting devices may comprise a first leg and a second leg that are joined at a base of the device to form a channel therebetween, where at least a portion of the base is more rigid than the first and second legs such that an acute angle between the first and second legs is maintained when the sweat-diverting device is applied on a wearer's forehead. In some variations, the thickness of the base is greater than the thickness of either of the legs, which may help to maintain a separation between the tips of the legs even when the sweat-diverting device is applied to a wearer's forehead.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR WITH DYNAMIC SUPPORT

An article of footwear with a dynamic support system that controls arrays of tiles in the upper of the footwear to adjust the level of support provided in different regions of the upper. Sensors in the sole of the footwear, in the upper of the footwear and/or in an article worn by the wearer of the footwear measure the level of stress or other characteristics and provide input to one or more microprocessors that control motors located in the sole or in the upper of the footwear. When the motors are activated, they may compress or loosen arrays of tiles to adjust the stiffness of the upper in one or more regions of the upper.

Gear for holding a physiological sensor

A wearable gear (100) for holding a physiological sensor for monitoring a subject, such as a pulse oximeter. Said wearable gear being configured to automatically adjust the maximal length such that the predefined tension is obtained regardless of the size of the body part of the subject. The wearable gear comprises a tensioning element (102) having a maximal length, a holding unit for holding the physiological sensor, the wearable gear further comprises a tension mechanism for tensioning the tensioning element to a predefined tension when at least partially around a body part of the subject, wherein the tension mechanism comprises i) a first part comprising a resilient material, and ii) a second part comprising a non-resilient material, and wherein the first part and the second part mechanically cooperate with each other to automatically adjust the maximal length such that the predefined tension is obtained regardless of the size of the body part.
