The thermoplastic resin composition according to the present invention includes a thermoplastic resin (A), and a modified ethylene copolymer (B) dispersed and contained therein, wherein the modified ethylene copolymer (B) in the thermoplastic resin composition has an average dispersed particle aspect ratio of 1 to 3.5, and an average dispersed particle diameter of not more than 3 m. The modified ethylene copolymer (B) is preferably a copolymer, modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, of ethylene with at least one monomer component selected from the group consisting of (i) olefin components except for ethylene, (ii) diene components and (iii) ester components having an ethylenically unsaturated group.

A thermoplastic polyamide can be obtained through the reaction of at least the components (i), (ii), and (iii), where a catalyst having a Lewis base component is used in the reaction. Component (i) is a composition containing a polymeric compound having two carboxylic acid moieties; component (ii) is a dicarboxylic acid composition containing at least one dicarboxylic acid; and component (iii) is a diisocyanate composition containing at least one diisocyanate. A process can be used for producing the thermoplastic polyamide and a method for the use thereof. A tandem reactive extruder can be used for the reaction.

This disclosure relates to thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) powders derived from expanded TPU and/or molding part thereof, wherein the average particle size D50 of the powders is no more than 1 mm, to a 3D molding formed from the same and to a process of forming the 3D molding. The TPU powders of the present invention can be used to prepare 3D products with low density, high rebound resilience and good mechanical properties, and the TPU powders of the present invention can be derived from a wide range of sources, and the TPU powders and 3D products of the present invention can be easily reused.

The present invention relates to a process for producing polyurethane foam moldings where the density of the molding is at most 500 g/L, by mixing the following to give a reaction mixture: a) organic polyisocyanates with b) polyesterols, c) blowing agents, d) cell-opening additives selected from the group consisting of homo- or copolymers based on ethylhexyl acrylate, on polybutadiene, on polyisobutene, and on diorganosilicones, or a mixture of two or more of said antifoams, e) silicone-based cell stabilizers and optionally f) chain extenders and/or crosslinking agents, g) catalysts, and h) other auxiliaries and/or additives, and charging the materials to a mold, and permitting them to complete a reaction to give a polyurethane foam molding. The present invention further relates to polyurethane moldings obtainable by this process, and to the use of said moldings as shoe sole, steering wheel, seat, or armrest.
