A head garment, which may comprise a nose covering portion, a head covering portion, and/or a neck covering portion. The nose covering portion may comprise a nose bridge portion, an upper lip portion, and a throughhole The head covering portion may be affixed to the nose covering portion and positioned to, when the head garment is worn by a user, cover the user's forehead and the back of the user's head. The neck covering portion may comprise an upper edge with a fastener portion that is configured to engage with a corresponding fastener portion on the lower edge of the nose covering portion, to releasably affix the lower edge of the nose covering portion to the upper edge of the neck covering portion, and disengage from the corresponding fastener portion on the lower edge of the nose covering portion, to form a mouth opening between the two edges.

The gaiter includes a pair of closure mechanisms at each open end of the body in order to facilitate and securely retain the placement of the gaiter where desired on the wearer. The length of the material forming the gaiter enables the gaiter to be worn around the neck, over the nose and mouth of the wearer and over at least a portion of the head of the wearer, providing additional wearable position configurations for the gaiter. The gaiter includes a pocket formed thereon within which a filter element can be positioned. The pocket is located on the gaiter in a location where the pocket and filter element are readily positioned over the nose and mouth of the wearer.

The first and second nose portions firmly cover the nose of the wearer. The first stitching and the second stitching are secured respectively to two opposite sides of the mask member. The third stitching forms a seam is positioned between the first stitching and the second stitching.

A protective face mask is provided that includes a mask body having a pair of opposing ends that taper inwardly from a middle portion including an upper nose cover and a lower mouth cover. An ear loop including a slide adjuster is affixed to each of the opposing ends of the mask body. A pocket having at least one vertical opening slot is disposed within an interior side of the mask body to receive a replaceable filter therein.
